Instinct Original Wet Dog Food, Grain Free Recipe - Real Rabbit, 13.2 oz. Cans (Pack of 6)

For years I have used Instinct brand for our Callie. Now that she is a senior, I was looking for a high protein to go along with the Senior dry food and she loves it. I switch of and on with other foods to her meals interesting but when I use this one, you can tell she likes it better than any of the others. I will keep buying this for her as she continues to age like the rest of us. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quality canned dog food.

I have two labs, one of which is picky so I don't bother giving him this. No reflection on the product.I actually bought this for my sweet baby girl, his older lab sister who has terminal cancer at just 7 years of age. The prednisone she is on has really upped her appetite, and so I wanted additional food items to work with. I like that this is comprised of 95% beef and liver, and the remaining 5% is fruits, veg, healthy carbs. I am not aiming for grain free, not even aiming for low carb, but the ratio seemed good for her needs. The texture is an ultra smooth pate which works very well for using in licky mats, kongs, and for hiding her medications in. We also like  Purina Beyond High Protein Pate . Instinct has always served us well over the years, and so I wanted to give this a whirl. So far so good

The consistency varies moderately between cans but overall both my dogs enjoy this one. My older boy with specific food allergies and my younger dog with a sensitive stomach both scarf this stuff down with no ill effects and if anything appear a little giddy afterwords. Great stuff. Pricey though. Getting pricier.

The dog ate it without getting sick.

Even though I give this 5 stars 2 of the 12 cans of Instinct canned Rabbit dog food arrived dented, one of which I call badly dented but the food smelled fine when I opened that can. He gobbled it down along with his Instinct Original Chicken Small Breed kibble and green beans. Dog later got sick so I threw away that remaining can of food last night. Today he is feeling fine. Don't know if the cause was food from that dented can or not. My dog does great on the Instinct Original Chicken Small Breed kibble and Instinct canned rabbit. He's a miniature poodle and since being on these two Instinct varieties he no longer has tearing, which he did with other Instinct varieties. He had a sensitive stomach when we adopted him 7 years ago but that was never an issue once he was changed to Instinct years ago. I do add salt-free green beans and canned pumpkin to add volume and keep calories down. He loves his food and weight is where it should be.

This has got to be the worst dog food I've ever seen. Three dogs and three cats and none of them would go near it. Seems like it's half water and smells disgusting! I am thoroughly discusted with the product and the cost was ridiculous. Can't even get the vultures out side to eat it!

Kind of a nasty watery mess. Don’t think it’s worth the cost.

Me habían comentado lo bueno de esta marca de alimentos para mascotas. Cumple muy bien lo de mejorar la digestión, ya que mis perritas han dejado de tener gases y mal aliento. Igual su pelo está más brillante y ahora lo comen con más ganas. Lo recomiendo.

Es alimento para el pero, dificil contestat, pero son caras

Tiene un poder que ni el encantador de perros. Babean que da miedo al abrir la lata, el contenido es de excelente calidad.

Me llegó el sabor equivocado, lo pedí de res y me llegó de pollo. La consistencia se ve bien y la cantidad es muy buena, pero extrañamente huele a atún, y es de pollo. A mi perrito no le agradó mucho, pero se ve de buena calidad.
