My hair is short, so when I used, I only applied enough Dye Shampoo on my hair. I tried not to apply excessively to avoid getting the shampoo on my head skin. Make sure you have a clean paper ready by your side.There is no need to use dye hair comb to dye your hair. Just wear gloves, black clothes, and you are ready. I wore black t-shirt, so I could pull it off my neck before I rinsed my hair. The dye shampoo can get on it a little bit. But it's black t-shirt, so it's not noticeable. I used my fingers and massaged my hair thoroughly. I left the shampoo on for about 20 minutes. This product works well for me and caused no reaction.
