Great!
Got these for my wired stairs attached to the trailer house because my dogs were freaked out by the holes and they now use them all the time!

Somewhat thin
Like the sticky bottom, but these are somewhat thin probably because they don't have the traditional rubber bottom to hold in place. These will work for now, not sure how they'll be after washing. Was har do find the color I needed, this was the closest- kind of a beige/brown.

Good treads
I got these for my basement stairs as whoever owned the home before my husband and I had painted the basement stairs (who does that?!!). So, I was constantly on edge going down them as i had fallen down them multiple times already with how slippery they are due to the paint. I did not want to get the slip guard grip strips (the ones that are basically strips of sand paper with a sticky back) because there are times I go down in my socks or barefoot and I did not want to deal with that discomfort. I seen these and figured why not, I'll give em a try and if I don't like them I can always take them off. I ended up loving them. They look nice, and they stick well - preventing any further falls. I have already been considering purchasing another set for my second set of stairs in a different color because I like them so much.

Fine for Temporary
I really needed a temporary solution for a stairway that isn't carpeted in a house that is being renovated while we are living there. The steps are not finished stair treads and they can be rough on your feet and a little dangerous. These little carpets were a perfect solution in the interim and exactly what I was looking for. They were a bit expensive for the thickness. They are rather thin, but the texture and fabric weave is nice and they do provide some padding and comfort on the stairs. The peel off backing did not stick to the wood at all. I cleaned the wood completely, but the backing just didn't stick. I had to get out the staple gun and staple all four corners and then another staple in the front center, so that nobody will trip going up the stairs from an accidental flip of the carpet pad catching on their foot and flipping up. Perhaps over time the glue backing will slowly melt into the wood? It's only been a few days and so far that has not happened. I don't care about the staples in the corners because we are under construction and this is just a temporary fix, mostly for safety for the kids on the stairs. They may stick better on a finished wood surface? I cannot say because I used them on unfinished wood and they did not stick. I will say that the stickiness does help prevent them from scooting around, which is definitely a huge bonus.. They look nice and they are serving their purpose. They are very easy to run the vacuum over and the pile is just high enough that in many places where I got the staples in just the right spot, you can't even notice them. Technically, I wasn't aiming for hidden staples, so many are visible. I am only making the comment to compliment the depth of the carpet pile. They seem to be well made and I actually think they are going to be fairly durable. The pile feels very soft and the whole piece of carpet is very lightweight. Once it is put down, you cannot tell it is as lightweight as it actually is. It looks like it weighs more than it truly weighs. I ordered the black, hoping that they might be reusable once they had served their temporary purpose. I think I have given up on that idea, but I am satisfied with the purpose they are serving.

Stuck to raw wood stairs
I put these SMILOOL Non-Slip Stair Treads for Wooden Steps on my steps to the house in the garage. Whenever I walked into my garage barefooted and then came up the stairs, I could feel grit on the bottom of my feet. With no mat at the top of the stairs, I had nothing to clean my feet on. Well, these stair treads solved that issue. My feet are cleaned off before I come in the house. They are thin, but they do the job as needed, and I don't think being thicker would make them better. For now, they are sticking to the raw wood. I don't know if the different temperatures will change that, but since they are in the garage, I can just put a couple of tack nails in them to keep them from moving.I am happy with them, they are just what I needed.

Priced Right and Very Nice Looking
We have tried a couple different brands of these step treads but these by far are the best. We liked these so much that we bought the red ones just for the Holidays and black ones for all year.We wanted a safe stepping tread for our dogs, who had been slipping on the wooden steps a lot. Originally, We purchased those cushy soft ones with a bright pattern (beachy image design). The pattern was cute but after a while was just too busy to have on steps PLUS, those pads sort of curled up on the edges and tended to pull up or sometimes your feet would get caught on them. Also the sticking system was not great with little adhesive 2x2" pads that you applied to the bottom and the floor. They tended to ware out really fast and many of them just started falling off. Also, they do not clean well and once you clean them - you can NOT stick them back on the steps. You'd have to get velcro or something like that to re-stick them. This brand however, are thin, like 1/4" thick or less and they are solid and really stick well to the floor with no curled edges. You step on them and they are not cushy and soft but solid and steady on the steps.Great Sticky Back DesignThey stick with a smart system - The entire back is sticky like a strong temporary glue that can be removed and washed and re-used. Plus, when we pulled up the red ones, we put the plastic covers back on them to keep them from getting dusty in storage. If you are looking for stair treads - look no further and try these - you will definitely like them and they are at an excellent price point compared to the other more expensive ones.

Don’t stick
I needed these desperately as my dog is getting up in years and slips on her stairs to my bed. But these won’t stick. I even tried using super glue on the back and they still fall off.Very disappointed
