Earlier ordered but was defective, but the replacement one is fine. As you can see, there is 0 heat while copying multiple files, no charging options, regarding usage, normal hard drives work, but power adapter output has to be minimum 30W or higher I think, I used powerbank type c output for this and did not work, but when I used my Moto G54 33W charger, it works, so I guess type C output has to be 30W or higher. Its pretty easy to use. Connect 30W + type c power output to type C port on the adapter, and your external hard drive in the USB-A port. As per my use, your hard drive has to be in exfat format. If in NTFS, you can omly view but not write any files to hard drive. No cable provided.

After years of development, the product finally transitioned from Lightning to OTG and was manufactured correctly. However, the company chose not to allow the device to charge through the external power supply unit port. Instead, it only provides enough current to power an external disk. They could have designed it to connect to the Lightning port for simultaneous device charging.Overall, the product is decent, but the price is high, likely due to the lack of competitors offering a similar OTG solution. The build quality is average, rated 3/5, as it feels fragile and may break under perpendicular pressure.Consider buying this if you specifically need to connect a storage disk to your iPad or iPhone. Otherwise, opting for a NAS or cloud storage service may be a better choice.

I purchased product on 26 nov and 15 day in HDMI cable not working in converter. I mail on their support/warranty claim mail id but couldn't answer it.

The build quality is good, It supports both Pendrive and SSDs the type - C port is for power and pendrive not for charging the phone, Over all the product is good but a bit costly.
