Live Flowering Thanksgiving/Christmas Cactus (Zygocactus) - Red, Beautiful Holiday Decor- 7" Tall by 7" Wide in 1.25 Qt Pot with Deco Cover

Was suppose to get yellow. There was the tiniest bit of yellow on the edges but this Christmas Cactus is pinkish orange, a sort of peach. I see there are no yellow ones advertised now so maybe that was a mistake. I can't complain because this is beautiful. The buds are dark pink but they open into a peach. Strange but beautiful. I've tried really hard to get a peach CC and have purchased several to get one, only to find they are bright orange. Don't fall for the rare yellow. I've not been able to get a real yellow yet. The closest is a white which looks yellow until it blooms. This seller advertised a buttercup (my words) yellow in picture but this sure isn't it. Not saying they didnt have yellow. Though this is quality and it's really what I wanted more than yellow!Thanks. I see the advertisement is changed not offering yellow now. The blooms were a bit wilted when I got the plant which is to be expected with a blooming plant laying in a box a few days. The plant is very healthy and planted well. It's a quality grown plant w tons of blooms. Unique. I think it should be noted that cactus color can be affected by the amount of sunshine they get. Red won't change but light colors might. I'm not seeing any yellow in this plant now since it's not in bright sun. Also keep in mind you will have to take the dead blooms off for it to keep flourishing. They do fall off though. Just dont think when they fall the plant is dying. It's not old or dying. It just needs like most blooming plants someone to remove its dead blooms so it can make more. These CC require very little, but to be pruned down just into its last section of green stem. You put those pieces into shallow water and put it in a window until you see roots. Then plant. Not sure why but the red one seems most easy to root. But always make sure you have roots when you transplant. People sell starters w/o roots. They have a 50/50 chance where a week in some water first could have made a secure plant. Got a very healthy looking plant last year but it wasn't rooted and for some strange reason it would not root. It was replaced. These are typically very low maintenance. If you want a healthy one to grow try a red one first.Even though the blooms on these plants are delicate, I, one year carefully pressed some red ones. They were a little interesting to peal off the page when dried but I drew a heart on white paper and put the pieces into it carefully and held my breathe to not disburse the delicate dried petals and covered the perfect red pearl heart with see through box tape. It made a most beautiful card for a person whose heart had been broken.

Cactus is in great health but has not bloomed yellow.

It hasn’t bloomed yet but some reviews say it’s more orange than yellow. It is a large, beautiful plant. My experience with them tells me they’re not fast growers. Some people complained about breakage. My plant was very well packed and traveled from Virginia to the coast of Texas. Yes there was a little breakage and bud loss. That’s not the fault of this seller. It’s a very healthy plant and I’d order again.

Very pleased. This cactus had a few blooms and tons of buds. There was some type of warming packet inside the box so the plant would not get too cold.I will definitely order again.

I purchased this for my sister who has been looking for a yellow Christmas cactus. It’s a nice plant but the blooms are mostly pink with a hint of pale yellow. It’s not the bright yellow as shown in the advertisement.

Nice plant but I wanted yellow.

Nice healthy plant but lost many blooms during shipping and top of box was crushed.
