Nippy car, easy to assemble, high on fun AND education.
Amazing little car. My 8 year old put it together by themself (so the instructions must be good) and feels very proud of it. It’s really fast too. Good value. We had a few crashes which it survived so it’s sturdy enough, although we have had a major crash down the stairs but child managed to repurpose the spoiler and the spare pieces it came with made a great fix - I’m well up for the educational value of fixing broken toys too so it deserves as many stars as I can give it.

Ok
Sad plastic parts, feels cheap. Works though

Rubbish
Honestly, it’s not at all easy to put together. It’s massively fiddly and the wired came out where they had been glued so it didn’t even work in the end. Waste of money. Spend the extra something better designed.

Really well put together kit that makes an excellent car.
Why did you choose this product over others?: This is a superb little kit that my grandson loved. Not only did he thoroughly enjoy the construction but the finished product is a cracking little car.

Fun stem project
The ScienSta STEM Engineering Kit RC car took my 9-year-old about 3 hours to build. He found it a little fiddly originally, as the provided screwdriver wasn’t great, but once I’d swapped the screwdriver, he was happier with building the car. The car was a little difficult to control as the controller was digital and not analogue, so there was no nuance in directional control: left was full left, and right was full right. However, it was still fun driving it. The car and controller required 6 AA batteries, which were not included. The instructions were simple to follow.

Arrived damaged
Sadly this kit arrived unpacked with just an address sticker on the actual toy box. The box was damaged and in looking through the contents, some of the pieces are missing making it unbuildable. NB you need 6 x A4 batteries to complete.

Fun to play but needs some improvement
The item came well in time for my kid to play during the Easter break. It is made of good quality materials. Instructions are quite good and easy to understand. You can spend hours in building this and then having fun afterwords. It provides a very good learning opportunity as well to kids. The reason to knock down 2 stars is due to the fact that assembling tyres is very difficult. The pin doesn’t go with hand and if you try to put extra force, the grove of the tyre breaks making it looser. Would be good if manufacturers can look into this aspect. Overall a fun project for kids but needs some improvement to make it easy. Hope you find this review helpful.
