I ordered 2 packages of these tea light candles & have been very happy with them. They're good quality & they last the full 8hrs. I will definitely buy these again.UPDATE: I ordered again. Very good, like before.UPDATE #2: I had a good experience with these candles before but my most recent delivery had the wrong brand, which was a lower quality. I ordered 2 & I'm returning the unopened pack.

Worked fine for my application. I have made a few tea-candle-cup Alcohol burners for Esbit's CS585HA 600mL Hard Anodized cook sets given as gifts. Typically one removes the candles from two cups, pokes holes in the bottom of one cup, and slides that cup 'bottom up' into the other having filled it with disks of Carbon Felt (as flame-proof wicking material to absorb the Alcohol to prevent spilling). Unfortunately most tea-candle-cups are only 1/2" high, so the amount of Alcohol fuel is limited to about 15mL (1/2oz). With these candles the height is 1", so up to 25mL of Alcohol can be contained. With this 2 cups of cold water can be brought to a boil and kept boiling long enough to make real oatmeal (or certainly purify the water, heat it for tea, coffee, or cocoa, or boiling water for your freeze-dried meal pouch).Sorry I haven't checked on how long the candles burned or how well... tea candles can be used for heating, simmering, etc., while camping, but tend to blow out or have its heat dissipated by the wind far too easily. I will say that the wicks and wick-disk come free from the candle very easily, but that shouldn't be a burn-time problem.

We use a fair number of candles (a dozen or so daily) and these are the best tea lights we've found in years (we first found these in January 2016). A bit expensive at roughly sixteen dollars for 50, but worth the price when you're in need of long-lasting tea lights. Placed out of any breezes, these tea lights easily burn 8 hours, sometimes longer. The biggest bonus is that if you need to extinguish them partway through burning, they will relight easily and still burn the entire remaining cup of fuel (wax). The two negatives (which did not effect the star rating, because of their overall quality) are: The packaging -- the bag allows them to bang around sometimes damaging some candles, and the size of the cup. Obviously they're a bit larger than standard tea lights to allow the long burn time, but this does mean that the edge of the metal cup will peek above the lip of some tea light holders. Not attractive if you're picky about those things.

I use many different brands I use tea light candles everyday and have never had a candle that only burns half of the parafin, goes out. I hope this was a bad batch, I will not order again. If you would like to talk with me or communite ,feel free to do so.

Ok first of all these are just tealight candles, so if you want a fancy nice smelling candle this isn't really your thing. But if you want to stick candles in your pumpkins on Halloween and so on, these are perfect I used them on Halloween night, used about 30 of them in various decorations, pumpkins, luminaries, they burn nicely - they do not smoke, they do not smell funny, they just burn for a long time. How long? I'm not sure - but they were definitely burning from 4:30 when I set up the halloween decorations through 9:00 when I closed up for the night -- never had a tealight last the entire halloween before. They are the same size as other tealight candles, width wise, but are a little thicker, which is why they burn longer. I was happy with this purchase and recommend it.

They work really well. They WILL last hours so make sure you are being safe when using these! I'm used to tea lights lasting a very short time so I had to be extra careful to put the flame out when I was leaving the house or done using it.

These tea light candles burn for a really long time. It will be wonderful if the power goes out this year to know I have light. I heard it's supposed to be a hard winter so I'm going to stock up on these.

It's not silly writing a review about GREAT tea lights when you've tried too many for too many years, which were lousy - typically they don't burn all the way down, so you end up throwing away most of it. Not so with these tea lights. They are large, burn for a long time - very steadily - and burn all the way down to the end. Will only buy these from now on. Great deal and great product for the money!

These candles burn really well. I always use them. Great value also.

These candles are good quality. Long burn time, says 8 hours on here and the packet but can go for 10 or longer. Will buy again.
