Uses for a ziploc storage bag in my Purse: 1. It holds a washcloth and soap when I travel and need to freshen up. 2. It holds a few cosmetics like lipstick, mascara, foundation with sunscreen . . . 3. One holds medicines for me with a dosage schedule 4. Another holds medicine for my spouse and dosage. 5. One holds small other items like laxatives, alka-seltzer, tylenol. 6. it holds granola bars, mints, and other snacks for long waits. 7. Another can hold a toothbrush and paste if I'm on the road for hours. 8. For an extra pair of panties. 9. For any jewelry I might need on the trip which naturally I don't want to keep in my suitcase.I use a clip to keep these together.In my suitcase: 10. I use a storage bag for my panties and bras so I can find them without having to search. 11. I use one for anything that can spill, like shampoo. Nothing is worse than opening a suitcase and finding a bottle has spilled, just ask me. 12. To hold my spouse's ties and tie clip. 13. To hold my wig. 14. To hold my extra hosiery so it won't snag.The beauty of Ziploc storage bags is that they allow me to pack more in the suitcase, funny how that works, and then they are available to bring home dirty clothes or treasures we have discovered along the way.

Buying these in bulk on Amazon makes a lot of sense. Since they're not perishable, they can last years, and the per-bag cost is half what I find in supermarkets.They're very sturdy, and the large size allows for storing large quantities of frozen foods for extended periods. (For example, I make large amounts of cookie dough, and freeze portions in separate Ziploc bags for use whenever the munchies attack).Beyond the food storage uses, I find them very useful for organizing all kinds of other things in my home, from desk supplies to smaller electronic devices that I'm not using all the time. Especially useful for keeping items with multiple parts or pieces all together in one place, in dust-free condition.They're see-through and have a large white space for writing with a marker if desired.Highly recommended both for versatility and price.

I read a few complaints about these gallon zip lock bags but bought them anyway because we go through a lot of them and really don't put lots of liquids in them since people said they leak. I haven't had any issues at all! The price was very good and the quality at least to me is just as good as any other zip lock bag. Def better than the store brand zip locks. I would buy again.

It's hard to find something to complain about with these. They're just what they say they are- Gallon Ziplock storage bags. So far, I've had two of them fail and have the contents leak out. Compared to my normal purchases though, that's far less than what I'm used to. To put that in perspective, I've used about 60 bags. For some reason, on the two that failed, the bottom gave out. It wasn't an especially heavy item inside, nor was it sharp.

No different than what you'd expect from Ziploc... these are the normal 1 gallon bags... nothing fancy, nothing wrong.There are times I wish all ziplocs had the zipper -- but wasn't necessary on this purchase.

These work, as long as you're not putting anything in them. I filled the bag up about halfway with ice and zipped it up. Immediately on picking it up, the bag right underneath the zipper part broke, making a huge hole.We used these bags for a science experiment as well in my classroom, making ice cream with ice and milk. We bought ziploc because we were sure that name brand bags would be the best way to go. Nearly every single one of these broke, even before we had to shake them up. I do not suggest buying these and possibly going with a brand that is cheaper and more reliable.

I buy zip loc sandwich bags , never a problem. but these when they put the zip lock in it screws up the bag. I must have thrown 25-30% away.the stupid thing is I keep buying them. I thought it was one batch but happened quite often. we use a lot of these. my wife puts every thing in a zippy, but am getting tired of the bay have a slit where the zip goes in

These bags in bulk are really an outstanding purchase, you can store food easily, and if you are organizing a house, these bags are great for putting items into these bags, pens, pencils, school supplies to bulk up on when everything is on sale prior to a new school year. Then as the year progresses, you'll have supplies on hand when kids need items verses driving around down to find items and pay higher prices. Last a long time after multiple uses.
