Q: Is this warm and comfy for long flight?

I would think so, very comfortable, just a little short in the keg for me, 31inch inside leg, would suit a 30inch better. Nice material with two side pockets.

Q: Why does it say hand wash only

I am not sure but I never hand wash This must be an error so comfortable and wash well in a machine

I don't know about the olive grey, but I bought the mountain green and yes, they look more a dark greyish/dark green... I wouldn't called them dark green but the colour is definitely dark. Comfortable trousers.

Q: Are they a generous fit

I normally wear a 10/12 and the size 12 is comfy for me. Legs are not too tight and the elastic at the waist is comfortable as well
