Great taste and very low sodium..
This is about my 6th attempt to replace Spice Islands Chicken Stock Base that has been discontinued for some reason. Most chicken bases, cubes, etc. have so much sodium which destroys the chicken taste. This has great flavor and very little sodium. You can make it as weak or strong as you want.It is probably for restaurant service since you have to buy 6 at a time, but it is worth it to me. I have used one carton in about 3-4 months, but I use it often for soups, and wok cooking, gravies, slow cooker items, etc. I also gave away two to family members who need to watch their sodium intake. Will definitely buy again.

Product expires in less than 60 days!
I love Knorr products, but what a total ripoff! This product comes packaged with (6) 1-lb tubs (like butter) in a box. It arrived completely melted. I immediately unboxed it and threw 5 of them in my freezer, and one of them in my refrigerator. I had plans to make roasted chicken and was going to use it in my side dishes.Upon looking at the expiration date, all of them expire October 14, 2021. So basically, I’ll get to use this tub a few times. But after I thaw out the other ones, I’ll only get to use them once, then have to toss them.NOT COOL, KNORR! These weren’t cheap! I’ve been busting my butt during this pandemic, and have been cooking home-cooked meals a LOT for my family and friends. Way to stick it to the little guy. I’m barely making it as it is, on a bus driver’s salary, and now you’re trying to sell people bulk product they can NEVER use in the amount of time before it expires. I worked in food service for 14 years. You don’t mess around with expiration dates.I’m going to contact Amazon in the hopes of getting a refund, because Knorr didn’t have a customer service number, from what I could see. Just not cool. I’m so disappointed in what I thought was such a trusted brand.

Great flavor.
It's very hard to find low sodium stock that has any deep flavor, but these are great. I eat soup so many times a week I felt I needed to knock some sodium out of my life. You can always add a tiny bit of salt, lemon juice... or dump wonderful MSG in to give the illusion of saltier soup. FYI the fat is liquid at room temperature so when you open them up stid them well. Fat is flavor...they're not bad or just "butter"as a former commenter ignorantly posted.

Great flavor
Really good base for any dish that needs chicken flavor. We use it in soups, gravy and other food. It has less sodium than other bases.

What a disappointment!!!
I have used Knorr products all my live. At this time, my doctor said I needed to cut out as much salt as possible in my meals. Therefore, when I saw the Low Sodium Roasted Chicken Base, I decided to purchase the item. I paid almost 50 dollars for 6 containers and now I am told that I can't get credit for another item, or return my items. 50 dollars now days is a lot to lose. I don't know what I am going to do with it. It smells rancid and has too much grease. I gave it a try and mixed it with warm water. The soup tasted terrible. This is the first time that I have been very dissatisfied with a product I got through the Amazon site. I give this product a "NO S T A R" rating. I have added the pictures of the product. All the grease is very visible. With all the positive reviews, I feel that the batch I got is not good!RO
