Works great and an easy swap, gave 4 star only cause it said it fit but was wrong gasket

This fixed all of the fuel problems.

I have a 2007 CanAm 650. The EFI fuel pump stopped working about 20 months ago. The dealer blamed it on Ethanol and because of the amount of labor involved insisted on putting the OEM pump assembly in. The part was about $350 and with labor and a few other things they did that I didn't need, the bill was around $1000! OUCH! This OEM pump quit working now and no warranty. I have been pretty diligent about using only non-ethanol but she does sit a lot. Anyway, I refused to pay the dealer again so a friend and I tackled the job with the help of an excellent YouTube posted by a guy named Brian. Everything went perfectly . This kit supplies everything you need and claims to be "ethanol tolerant" in case some sneaks in there. The only thing I wish was included was the in line fuel filter, but that was easy to pick up at the local auto parts store. The price of this kit and the savings of doing yourself makes the whole thing worthwhile... actually fun to hear her start up on the first spin!

1. It would have been very beneficial if the fuel pump kit had included a new wiring harness for inside the fuel tank. I had to rebuild the original harness as the wiring insulation had decayed to bare wire.2. The plastic fuel line was slightly too small in diameter to attach to the fuel pump and to the thru tank cover. This was easily overcome by purchasing 3/8" plastic hose at local home store.3. The fuel filter screen would not fit in the register slot. The register tab had to be trimmed resulting in a broken plastic collar at the screw tab.

Repaired a common problem with Hesitation -loss of power . Kit came complete with everything you need to finish . The alternative to the repair was to spend $296 . I would say $80 is money well spent and back on the trails

This pump was a direct swap with the factory unit with one exception. The tank filter was not the same orientation as the original (as shown in the photo). I was forced to reuse the original. Other than that I am happy with the pump so far. The fuel pressure regulator was an added bonus. She is back up and running like new again!

They could add a power supply plug , had to fix mine, white hose a little tight to put on but that was expected, put it on and u r on u r way, checked pressure, good, started right up ! Cam-Am 2009 400 EFIIt was my fault just let unit sit to long with out using it. I also put a new fuel filter on, and a vent seal for the top on the fuel tank, and also new fuel..
