DAYUAN Ball Joint Press & U Joint Removal Tool Kit, Red Case

Used on 2008 Ford F150 XLT 5.4L - Very nice tool. Worked GREAT! I have done a lot of auto mechanics, but this was my first ball joint replacement, went very smooth, no issues at all. Unbelievable difference in the truck.

This worked perfectly on my 56 Ford Thunderbird lower control arm bushings. I had to use a 1-1/16 craftsman socket on the pushing end, but the receiving end lined up perfectly using items in the kit. The drive screw seems pretty solid, I can't imagine this cracking or stripping unless you doing things incorrectly and not lined up on the bushing while pushing.

2001-2005 civic works . A bit of fiddling with pieces to figure out. Replaced ball joints on knuckles on front end . For 40 cannot beat this . Case is fragile but I only needed once really . Definitely need a good impact gun like 1/2 Milwaukee pressed out and in my new ball joints with ease once I got cups lined up right. Instructions more of a guideline since I had to reverse the cups based on how this civic knuckle is laid out.

Worked on my F450, but i wouldn't rely on this for consistent use.

Totally disappointed about this item, I've been working on my 350Z during the weekends for a while trying to put it back together and bring it back to life, I needed to replace the front ball joints and I wanted to do it myself so I could save some money, when I received the tool kit I waited a couple of weeks to use it since I still needed to buy the parts and when I finally got to it, the biggest turn off was that it didn't work and didn't fit on the 350Z, the description clearly says that it it'll work on Most 2 wheel drive but in my case it didn't work on 2 wheel drive 350Z, when I found out I had the tires off and bolts and lower arm and everything else, so I found myself running around from part store to part store looking for the correct set of tools, finally I went to Autozone about 10 miles from my house and ended up renting one and finally got it done but it was very stressful and intimidating since I'm not a Mechanic and all I knew was based on some YouTube videos that I've been watching for a couple of weeks so I could learn how to do it. Fortunately I succeeded and at the end everything worked out and I was able to completely finish the job in 3 days.

This is one of those tools I can save you so much money! Made to work easy. Ball joints came off like they were on butter..

Ich habe damit einen oberen Kugelkopf von einem CanAm Spyder installiert, allerdings musste ich passende Adapter selber drehen da die vorhandenen etwas zu groß waren. Ich habe auch ein Kupplungs Drucklager von einem Nissan damit herauspressen können. Die Klemme ist massiv und sieht sehr stabil aus. Es sind etliche Adapter und Platten dabei, aber wie erwähnt, manchmal müßte man welche besorgen die kleiner sind. Ich bin zufrieden.

Es muy dura y versátil. Hace lo que le toca y son esfuerzo. No se dobla como otras.

Although I have not actually used it the, I am impressed by the visual quality inspection and I can’t see how it won’t do what is expected. The quality is much better than expected and pretty heavy duty metal. I will reevaluate after use, but very pleased with what I received today.

I couldnt have done my job more easily without having aquired this tool. 23yr old civic 1.6i SE MK7 required new ball joints pressing into its hub. Age related rust on tapered joints and then having to press out an old ball joint body from a cast hub!! Made this tool a necessity. Yes, you can hammer out these parts. But to prevent damage to the new parts being inserted it is better to press fit them. Two things to note. The U shaped bridge, though huge, only just made it across my pressing site once you select the necessary tube and top/ bottom plate. Secondly, almost every casting ( the car hub) has casting angles on it...allowing air to exit ports during casting. But this means NO TWO faces are parallel with each other. So you will encounter parts of the kit not sitting inline as you apply pressure ( through the threaded bar). This isnt engineeringly good. Extracting its fine, the part providing the guidance OUT! But INSERTING....It provides so much force that the inserting part can go in OUT OF SQUARE. So be careful in the first few millimeters to ensure the insert is going in true to the hole.....then give it full welly when it is. This kit is versatile for its purpose. Good quality. Could do with some instructions or diagrams for the less well initiated. Theres not much about its use that isnt easy. I would suggest two people and a vice. The vice to hold the part having the insert and the second person to hold the various rings steady until force is applied with the screw. Nice carrying case or storage case. Possibly a few shorter tubes to get a part started....then you coukd swap to the longer " recievers" ( tubes into which the pressed out part is recieved as it exits the casting)
