Revell Model Set 67095 Citroen 2CV CHARLESTON 1:24 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit with Contacta Professional Glue, Paintbrush & Selected Aqua Color Paints

I managed to find this kit for less than £10 on special offer on Amazon, so I decided to give it a go. The 2CV is rather an unusual design, so I spent a little time trying to work out exactly what some of the pieces were meant to represent. That said, the kit falls nicely into place and the finished model is tight and nicely formed. It took me about 2 months to build, because life gets in the way.The kit has 126 pieces, and it needs 15 different paint colours to create the standard model as defined in the instructions. The instructions are logically laid out. Each logical section of the build is confined to one page of the instructions. There are 50 clear steps in the instructions pamphlet. You can build the model with a hard fixed roof, or you can make it with the roof rolled back to show the interior. I chose the latter method, because the interior looked good to my eyes.Most people seem to think that Revell paints are difficult to use in an airbrush. However, I always use Revell primer, Revell paints, and Revell clear-coat, because they are compatible and work for me. I hope you found this brief review helpful.
