Simple to setup and excellent audio on a Windows PC
The specific reason I purchased the BT-W6 is I wanted the ability to use a pair of Cambridge Melomania M100 earbuds with a desktop PC running Windows 11 (version 2024H2) with no in-built Bluetooth receiver. The Melomania M100 supports aptX lossless codec, which the BT-W6 supports, so it seemed like a good match of products. User reviews of similar products from other brands all seemed highlight issues with device compatibility, pairing, audio quality and straight up failure to work, so I ended up purchasing the BT-W6 because it was from a brand I was at least familiar with, and was designed to work a range of devices, rather than being a companion product intended for use with specific headphones.I shouldn't have worried, because the setup process was really very simple. The BT-W6 doesn't ship with a USB-C to USB-A adaptor, so I attached the receiver to a UGREEN type C to type A adaptor I'd bought separately, plugged it into a spare port on the PC and installed the Creative app from the website. The whole installation process took a couple of minutes and the device was detected and ready for pairing.Pairing the earbuds was equally painless, which used the standard pairing procedure - both devices had to be in pairing mode, at which point the Creative software showed the Melomania M100 as the paired device. It initially connected using SBC instead of aptX (the LED indicator on the device changes colour to indicate the codec/pairing in use), so I tried removing and plugging the receiver back in and it detected and used aptX Adaptive LL from that point forward. The sound quality and general user experience has been flawless. Music streamed via Tidal sounds excellent and there's no noticeable lag when watching movies, YouTube, or playing games. There's a slight delay of about a second when a program starts playing audio and you start hearing it (probably as a result of synchronisation/handshake process), the audio is synchronised with the display just fine once playback is underway. The maximum supported volume is considerably higher than any human could possible stand, so there are no complaints in that department either.Yes, the BT-W6 is more expensive than equivalent products from other manufacturers, but the fact it just worked first time without problems made me less concerned about the premium. If you want to add Bluetooth audio support to a PC which includes aptX codecs, this is definitely worth considering.

I do not recommend it.
I bought this dongle specifically for the low latency mode. However, the low latency mode is unusable because the audio crackles. The HQ mode does not crackle, but the latency in this mode is comparable to a generic Bluetooth dongle such as the UB600, which is 1/10th the price of the BT-W6, rendering the BT-W6 extremely overpriced in comparison.

Lossless confirmed
Didn't work right out of the box, and only got lossless to work on Windows PC. Updated firmware and drivers. Downloaded the Windows app, and finally the Yellow LED appeared. The audio quality is next level. I thought LDAC was good, but this is insane. What amazing technology, that lossless audio can be transmitted by Bluetooth.

Great allrounder, decent sound and not to difficult setting up
Little bit glitchy on sync, we had problems connecting to my soundbar. The audio is very good and with Bluetooth 5.4 I get a very clean signal to my B&O H95 using aptX adaptive HQOverall a great little BT dongle, I run this on Mac with no issue and the app works fine

Great
Brilliant. 0 issues setting up and connecting, plug and play for me. Sound excellent and I can’t notice any issues with latency.

It sort of works but has issues
Ok so this does give your phone lossless quality. Cant say I noticed much difference to my S25 Ultra's standard output though. If you turn off the phone and then turn it back on it plays music at full volume until you adjust it down. Like all dongles the potetial for loosing the device is high. Also it doesnt fit that well if your phone is in a case.

Works well - Happy purchase !
Great AptX audio transmitter.Connects easily to other AptX devices - no drop outs or connection issues.Creative software is well developed and helps you fine tune your audio experience, should you wish to utilise lossless or HD connections, etc... Although you can press the button on the dongle to switch listening modes if you wish.

Not as advertised
This dongle is advertised to have LE Audio and LC3 codec support. I’ve purchased it basing on this information. I needed something that will ensure low latency connection between my earbuds Technics AZ-100 and my PC, so I can enjoy gaming without sync issues between audio and what is actually happening on the screen. But this dongle failed to deliver in these regards. I contacted Creative and asked why I cannot connect my earbuds that support LC3 codec with their dongle that also supports it. After troubleshooting instructed by Creative, they’ve admitted that my device is not compatible with their dongle. I only managed to eatabilish SBS connection. In this connection when you watch YouTube you experience lipsync. This was £50 disappointment. You could buy a dongle for £5 that would likely deliver the same level of latency. Not as advertised. I will have to return it.

Small but incredible!
Tiny but a powerful gadget to have if you like premium sound quality.I bought this together with BOSE earbuds for my husband. This is to link his Samsung Fold with BOSE and enjoy a LOSSLESS, premium sound quality. So far its good, according to my husband. It is actually cheaper if you buy directly fr Creative website (The Netherlands). Since I have Amazon Prime account, I just paid extra €5 for my peace of mind. This was also delivered the next day together the BOSE earbuds.

APTX Lossless

Amazing for music. Sometimes problems if using Teams/etc.
Listening to music: 5 stars. Works perfectly with my Focal Bathys and I get aptX Adaptive HQ. Either by pressing the button on it or by using the program.Using it in meetings: Works most of the time, but sometimes sound just starts to break up more and more and then fixes itself and then does it again. Powercycling the Bathys helps for a while, but the problem isn't the Bathys. That's why 4 and not 5.
