First, let me say that a choice of a keyboard is a very individual decision. What one may prefer, may not be preferable for someone else. In my opinion however, having been around PCs since the original IBM 8086, 8088, etc. and their ubiquitous Model M keyboard (which I still own), the MSI Forge GK300 is a close relative. The blue key switches are light and fairly 'clicky' and while I'm not a touch typist by any means, I find the board a delight to use. The backlighting also shines through the keycaps which is a nice touch (pun intended). The board appears well constructed and rather lightweight. As for durability, it's too early to tell, but Micro Star International ("MSI") has been around for a while. For the money, this is a great value keyboard. Did I mention that I liked the keyboard so much, I bought a second one for a different PC? Charles S.

I bought this for my kids computer, as they kept wearing out the old HP or Lenovo ones we had around the house, as well as I have had a positive experience with my own MSI Keyboard and mouse (different model/series though). My kids told me that they instantly noticed the speed and accuracy that the keyboard had, and they really like the tactile feel of the keys. The mouse is very accurate and smooth as well, and they like how the controls on it feel and respond. Definitely a good upgrade to just about any computer setup, regardless if you do gaming or normal everyday computing. A great buy, and a great product.

Reasonable keyboard and mouse combo. The mouse only gets 180hz pooling rate. No software to change light color and patern, would be great if I can choose a static color to match my PC, can't turn it off either. It's a great buy if its around $60 net

I purchased this keyboard combo by mistake as I thought it was the MSI Forge GK310 Combo Red. However, I am happy with the purchase. The keyboard is tactile and the blue switches are responsive, if clicky/clacky. The mouse does not appear to be anything special. It has 5 buttons, RBG lighting, and it works fine as well. The keyboard and mouse are plug and play, meaning that you plug them in and they should work for Windows PCs (and probably Mac too). You do not need to download any software for this pair. The only gotcha I can think of is that the RBG colors on the keyboard are static. What I mean is that whatever color the key is, is fixed. It is not like a Razer keyboard where you can change the entire color of the keyboard. The keyboard has like 5 different keyboard patterns and that is it. Overall, this keyboard and mouse combo works just fine and I am happy with it for the price I paid.
