So far so good!
Keyword points: Quiet, sturdy, easy to use, fairly easy to put together, smooth, good tension differences Why I got this: Since the outbreak of COVID, I've been primarily working from home. I am at my computer desk for about 12 hours a day, 7 days a week (work and video games). My step count is laughable. In June of this year, I had a heart attack (MI) due to blood clots from a kidney stone. It scared me. I had always thought these under-desk exercise machines weren't really all that much "exercise" as they seemed too low-impact. After the heart attack, I reevaluated my stance and realized that while they may not help me shed any weight or gain any lean mass, they will help my leg circulation. Due to the MI, I wanted to work on my overall health and this seems to be a great means of doing so while I'm at my desk. Ease of assembly: Pretty easy. It's not like 'take out of the box and use' easy, but there are only a few parts to put together and the instructions are very VERY clear. It took me about 20 minutes total from unboxing to using. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for "Easy to assemble" only because if you're planning on using this for PT with your arms, it may be a bit of a challenge to get all the bolts tightened enough Ease of use: SUPER easy. The only issue I had after putting it together was that I could not change the settings and it wouldn't calculate my rotation/distance. I had taken out the plastic strap and the display was on, but there was no functionality to the display as far as options or seeing use. I followed the directions to replace the battery (this is probably the most difficult part of the entire machine) and now it works perfectly. I'm assuming the battery that came with it may have been old/not so full of juice, but whatever the case, they do send a second battery and it works fine. Turning the tension knob is easy and the pedals move exactly as expected. The machine doesn't slide on my carpet when in use unless I'm meaning to slide it. It has good enough traction that I don't worry about it moving while I'm using it. Other notes: This is very quiet. The nosiest part of it was that I could hear my pants leg rustle against my chair. Comfortable. I was worried that the angle I'd need to put my legs to use this would be awkward while sitting in my desk chair. This is not the case. I used to have a footrest under my desk, and this has replaced it entirely because it is very comfy and the height is perfect. It doesn't take up a ton of space, it's barely bigger than my footrest, not too high, and not too wide. The packaging was easy to open and the machine easy to take out. Each part was clearly marked. Even the pedals had little removable tags on them to remind you exactly how to attach them! The instructions were perfectly clear, not once did I have to guess what they meant by something or try to figure something out myself. Each step was outlined, there were diagrams, and all needed tools came with the product. Would I buy it again?: Yes, I would. I did get the warranty on it to be on the safe side (10% of the purchase price, so just under $10), but so far, this thing seems to be exactly what I had hoped it would be. I have not had this for too long, and if my stance on this product changes, I will update this review.

Folks with CP, here's a review for you!
I have moderate CP that mainly affects my legs. I recently got a baclofen pump and am trying to build strength in my legs and use some muscles that I've never been able to use before. I love this thing. Hopping on a stationary bike isn't the safest for me and most of them are too big or barely fit me (I'm 4'10). I use this with a regular dining room chair, and I put it against something heavy (right now a bookcase) so it doesn't scoot away from me. The pedals have loops to secure your feet, which most of us with significant CP need. They are just rubber loops though, not velcro straps. The pedals do spin on the pin that they are mounted on which can make it difficult to get your foot through the loop, especially if you wear AFOs. I can do it now but it took some practice. The lowest level of resistance was still enough resistance for me when I first got it 2 weeks ago. Now I use it comfortably on level 3 or 4 for about 30 minutes at a time, burning between 150-170 calories (I can't pedal fast). You can also pedal this forward and backwards. I have to sometimes pedal backward for a minute to get my muscles firing before I can pedal forward. The flywheel is quiet and smooth. I was able to put this together myself, but my upper body fine motor and strength is normal. I use this on a table as an upper body ergometer on max resistance and it is a killer workout for me. It's about 20 lbs, but easier to lift than other 20lb things for me because it has a handle. Hope this helps. It's so hard to know what's going to work with CP and what won't!

Doesn’t work well on carpeted floors
Installation was quite easy and I was using this in less than 15 minutes. The unit preforms great, feels well built, and gives me a good workout, and stores easily (as long as you have an area for it to slide under). The stability is questionable as this house mainly has carpeted flooring, and my chair is a computer chair.. so sliding is a problem. Using it when sitting down on my bed keeps me from sliding.. but the unit itself has slid out from under my feet (nomatter how I position myself). I wonder if there’s a rug I can get for carpets, that prevents itself and what you put on it from not sliding out from under your feet. Other than that, fantastic product, highly recommended. 👍

I am happy I tried it
I read a few reviews that turned me away because they stated that this was not something you can get cardio in for. Out of the options I saw, this one looked to be more of what I was looking for so I took a gamble and boy did it pay off. As one review wrote, the highest resistance is barely a resistance, but I was a fool. A fool who didn't take in account of my own lack stamina and training. A fool who pedaled at a decent pace for 30 minutes and felt a good burn, only for the next day to find my hips and thighs joined together to take me down. I've only been able to cycle 10 minutes today on setting 6 but I learned a lot. It sits nicely under my desk and tends to sit still but if I lean back in my chair to use it as a recumbent bike, it slides forward. It's NEARLY silent, it hasn't been picked up in any calls so far but it is very quiet. It's not too heavy either so I can take it from desk to desk and use it. I'm not sure what some of the screen numbers mean but I only use the timer to track how long I go. All in all, I'm very happy with this. While I do hope I can find a way to increase resistance in the future, this is going to be something I use daily in my weight loss journey.

A must have for desk job
I went from floor nursing, walking miles a day, to a telephonic phone nursing position where I’m sitting in a chair for essentially 8 hours a day. My legs would hurt from dangling all day in the chair. I needed something to help keep me moving, since I’m so used to waking. This was definitely my answer! I was a little hesitant at first based on the reviews about the pedals stripping and essentially becoming useless after a couple months of use. And I’ve only had this for 5 days so far. So I’m hopeful that the pedals hold up. If not, I’ll change my review. The display starts up when you start pedaling and shuts off after 4-5 minutes of no activity. No need to take the battery out. The pics above show what I did on my first day using it sporadically over 8 hours. It has a distance counter which is nice. The calorie counter seems to count a little less than my Apple Watch, but it is still a great counter for those that don’t have a smart watch. It said I burned 688 calories, while my watch said 753. The counter seems to be based on average, while my watch uses my heart rate. Yesterday I did 32 miles and burned over 800 cals. I do wish that this had a higher tension setting. I would say I’m in good shape, and I’m on the highest tension of 8. But I also know that this isn’t meant to replace a strenuous cardio workout. My heart rate ranges from 100-110’s but if I’m consistently pedaling for 30 mins or more, it will get up to 130’s and you can feel the sweat. Also, I can definitely feel the inner thigh burn. Setup was fairly easy. 10-15 mins max. You really only have to assemble the end plate, front stabilizer, and pedals. I do think the pedals were the hardest part. You screw them in, which was easy enough. But putting the bolts on the back was challenging. Sounds easy until you go to do it. They give you very detailed instructions and even warn that if you don’t put the pedals on correctly, it can harm the product. It seems I put them on right, so I hope it holds up with how much I use it. It does have a carrying handle and would be easy to move around the house. If you are thinking about lugging this back and forth to work, I would probably just get one for each location. It does create a little bit of sound, but mostly a hum. I use mine in between patient calls so I can’t tell you for sure if this hum would be audible on a phone call. I work from home, but I do think it’s quiet enough to not disrupt your office mates. I heard a click today and was worried it was the product but nope! It was my knee. So I’m taking a break. It is addicting and I can see how easy it would be to overwork yourself on this. You can apparently use for your arms, but I haven’t done that just yet. I was considering the deskcycle, but wasn’t sure how committed I would be to using a pedaler so I went with this option since it’s cheaper at $120 vs $190. So far I’m very happy with this option. As I said, I’ve only had 5 days so I will update if it starts making noise, pedals start stripping, or what have you. This product seems to be used a lot by the elderly or people who have had joint replacements and I can see it being great for that use as well. Very multifunctional for people of all different activity levels.

Smooth action
Smooth action. Some reviewers had trouble with assembly. You must remember that the left pedal is threaded left-hand. It works in the opposite direction of normal right-handed thread. The right pedal is threaded right-hand.

Didn't operate as smoothly as I hoped.
I bought this to help me recover from knee replacement surgery. Assembly was easy enough for me. I had to purchase an anti-slip mat to use it on my hard floors or it scooted around too much. The rotation of the pedals was not very smooth and the tension adjustment was not evenly graduated. I considered returning it, but that would have required disassembly to fit it back into the original box, a difficult or impossible task with a damage risk, so I used it for about a month and donated it. Someone who is happy riding a base level Huffy bike may be very satisfied. I found it awkward and uncomfortable to use.

Great, comfortable way to exercise
I've been basically sedentary since I started working from home in 2021, and it's been so hard to work up the motivation to exercise more than once or twice a week. I purchased this recently and it's a game changer, I can easily do at least two hours at a pretty decent speed and I've already lost three pounds. My only critique is I wish the resistance level could go higher, the highest setting is barely a challenge for me and I could use a higher setting just to strengthen the muscles around my knees. Otherwise, it's a great product. It doesn't shift on carpet at all, this was the lowest height I could find since I have a pretty low deal and I have to scoot my chair back so my knees don't hit my desk, but it's still possible to type this way. It's also pretty quiet, your air conditioner is probably going to be louder. I fully recommend this product if you're looking to be more active in your desk job. Update: still going after 1.5 year. I have a daily goal of twenty minutes minimum and it has made a tangible difference in my fitness level, I recently went jogging with my dog for the first time in ages (knee issues), and didn't get winded at all. Still wish there was a higher resistance level, but if you're not sure about this puppy, just go for it. It's much, much better than nothing and hardly feels like working out at all.

Great
Reasonably light. Needs a yoga mat to prevent it moving on a smooth floor. Tricky to put pedals on, one screw was so hard I had to get a guy to help. Works well

Prodotto Eccellente. Molto Stabile, Molto Silenzioso.
