Excellent quality....good instructions..no missing parts...enjoyed putting together, but I'm an 80 year old retired engineer😎 Downside .. Heavy ...UPS man could not get up my steps due to boxed weight, knowledge of various fasteners helpful, took me a full day to assemble

Los cajones no ajustan bien, el ensamblado está un poco confuso, debi de haber comprado uno metálico, está bien para salir del paso pero no me parece una solución definitiva

I'm torn because I like the finished product, but there were some issues and there still is an issue. First, I did not read that this is wood. Not that that matters really. I just expected a filing cabinet to be metal. LOL! Second, there were two issues while putting the drawers together and the only warning you have are the comments! Nothing on the manual while putting it together. Others mentioned the stripping of screws while screwing the lock in on the backside of the front piece of the drawer. (Didn't read those until after I committed the same mess-up). The part of the lock you screw in has 4 very tiny screws on the 4 corners. The middle is lifted, and where the screws go in - it's indented (not as thick). It's hard to explain without pictures. So, if you screw in the screws completely, you end up having it stick up on one side unevenly. When you try to fix it, you've automatically stripped one of the screw holes. This should be in the manual so it does not continue to happen. My advice - do not screw the screws in completely before evening them up and do not screw completely to the board after that. Just leave it slightly lifted and even. ... The other issue with putting the drawers together is the back of the drawers has a weird fit. (Read those comments afterward also.) The piece is thin and just slides in the slots of the other pieces. It seems easy. It looks like it goes one way, but you may end up breaking that thin piece if you force it. I consider myself pretty smart with common sense and putting things together like this, but it took me quite a few minutes to just try and turn it the opposite way (sideways) to just see if it worked. Finally, it did! Again, nothing in the manual or labeled on that part to show which side slides in first. I got a little frustrated. LOL! My advice on this one - if you are having to force it, go ahead and turn it the other way to see if it slides better. Last, but not least, the cabinet included one small ring piece. It is no where to be found in the manual! I had to assume where it went. It happened to perfectly match the outer lock piece to fill in the gap of where the lock sticks out the front of the drawer. The issue - there was only one ring piece and 3 locks! (The pic attached are of the locks upclose to show the difference between the one with the ring and another without)... I contacted the seller through their email. They replied saying they needed a bunch of info because they have multiple sites they sell through and cannot track anything through Amazon. I sent them pictures and the info they asked for. Except they wanted the part number and again - the manual does not even include these ring pieces! After I sent the information (with pictures) (twice!), they never got back to me! Now, my cabinet has one lock with the ring around it and 2 without. Seems easy to send such small pieces, but no one seems to want to help me. Maybe Home Depot or Lowes can help with the pieces since they don't seem to know the pieces to their own products!
