Rescue at Cedar Lake (True North Bodyguards)

Alex is trying to reach his sister via video chat to let her know there is bad snow storm heading her way and he is there to take her and the young lady she is protecting to safety. His ex fiancee face appear on the screen with three large men asking her where is the trunk. This story has bad guys around every corner, you will be totally surprised at who the really bad guys are. Alex and Theresa thought they were ready for marriage when they were in their early twenties but God had other plans for them. Sometimes God want us to wait for his timing. His timing is always the best.

Rescue at Cedar Lake - by Maggie K. Black - I have finished all three of the books in the True North Bodyguards series. Wonderful, action packed stories. This is my favorite of the three books. Maggie K. Black paints wonderful pictures with her words. You almost feel like you are watching a movie. Then, just when you think you are arriving at the end of the story, she pulls a surprise that is very interesting and believable. I really like that the romance between the hero/heroine is very believable.

The plot of the story moves and takes you with it. The reader doesn't really know what is going on until the characters, Samantha and Joshua, know and watch while Samantha finally figures it out with the help of the skills she learned doing her job.

Excellent book with action, excitement, surprises and suspense. Twist and turns that you didn't see coming. So much action and suspense that you almost get out of breath with them, and you need to rest as well.

Overall, a great story I didn't want to put down.

I enjoyed reading this book series of the north bodyguards. I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can read it to. I would recommend it to anyone who has been reading this series.
