I see these questions go back 5 years but the shelf life of this product is 3-5. If I purchased one now, what would the sell by date on the bottle be?

This product sells out fast and we send in replacement product all the time. For instance, the shipment I just sent to Amazon on November 22, 2021 has an expiration date of August 2023. Your experience may vary, though. Amazon tries not to sell items within 50 days of their expiration date. These jars are well packaged and I'd expect an unopened, undamaged jar would stay good for a very long time.

Is the sugar free from contact with peanuts or tree nuts?

No, per the King Arthur Baking site.

Would this product work sprinkled over ice cream to make it sparkle?

Possibly if the ice cream stays frozen.

Is this product produced in the USA?

I believe that it is. I have used it for years and never had a problem with it or any King Arthur products. To confirm, I would email King Arthur.
