A Must Read!
Christians are being deceived and don't realize it. This book names names and points out various doctrines that are false, that God's people are falling for. Reveals why we must put on the whole armour of God to be able to discern the truth from the lie

Not Much New Here
This book was an interesting read, but if you're a student of Bible Prophecy, and watch conservative news, there is not much in it that you don't already know. I think the best audience for this book is a casual believer, or someone who is not really into Bible prophecy. They will probably learn a lot from this book because it does have some good nuggets of information. However, if you read your Bible regularly, and you're into Rush, Sean, Hal Lindsey, David Reagan, Jan Markel, Donald Perkins, etc., you already know about 95% of what's in this book.

Engaging and well written.
We all know the Bible says Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). He is prowling around like a lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Thankfully, we have hope! We get to read the end of the story and we know what his future holds (Revelation 1:10). But what about now?Ephesians 6:12 says "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (NASB) Satan is on the attack. Infiltrating all areas of life: marriage, families, education, entertainment, media, government and politics, and even our churches. Many writers have shared their views and opinions on just how Satan is accomplishing his agenda and these writings have been compiled into this book, "Deceivers".Each chapter was well written and drew me in, eager to read more. The authors did a great job revealing the deception taking place world wide and in our own backyard.I am grateful to have had the opportunity to read this book and look forward to sharing it with family and friends.

DECEIVERS....beware.....
This book has many authors which is an enhancement!!! Each reads like a book unto itself. You can read and come back many times and read something entirely different ... However each "book" is about Deception. Something we all need to be aware of in this day and age.

Wonderful book on TRUTH that media never reports
Wonderful book on TRUTH that media never reports!! Different authors are a little repetitive emphasizing the lies we are being spoon-fed by fake media. Education and extra-terrestrial chapters very good, but devoured whole book and gave it to my now-turned-liberal granddaughter--praying she will read it.

Solid Material
Great insight from various authors who know the word of God and have discernment. The church is in need of discernment. This book gives a good overview that will help those that may be looking to train their spiritual senses to be able to discern.

Good start and then fizzles.
The book starts out well. The first few chapters are well written and have some real substance. It goes downhill from there. There is one chapter on UFO's that needs to be redacted. The chapter on deception and the media needs to give specific examples instead of just ranting about how biased it is.Take it back to the drawing board, do some more editing and then republish edition 2.

A warning to Christ's Church
This book is a collection of writings by various Christian leaders, accurately describing the deception which has overtaken society. But not only society: the Church has also fallen for these lies, and denominations which once were faithful Bible believers are being drawn away from the truth. Backed up with plenty of evidence, the various articles are an encouragement to Christians to believe in God's word and stand firm.

Written for Americans
Although I enjoyed the majority of this book, it is highy specific to America. Being British, I could relate to much of what was written but found myself skipping over sections on American politics. I found the book very relevant for today, especially the piece on Israel and the emergent church. Much of the book was backed up by scripture but I was left with doubts on the validity of chapters 8 and 12 which talked about Nimrod and UFOs.

A "must-read" book - a book for our Times!
Excellent book. If you are concerned about the state of the world generally and the "church" more specifically, this is a "must-read" book. Very comprehensive and yet not complex. Absolutely highly recommended.

A book I wish every British teenager would read
It is very sad that people want to deceive other people on a micro and a macro level. This book will help teenagers watch out for it. I would suggest it is a great birthday or Christmas present.

Muddle , not the content but the actual setting out of the book.
The first chapter by Jan Markell is unfortunately a complete muddle as the pages do not follow on from each other. I hope the rest of the book is ok.

A Work on End-Times Deceptions but with Caveats
This book is a mixture of truth and error. It contains one serious irony. The book discusses the end times deception, of which there is no doubt exists, but in itself contains deception in the form of use of multiple Bible "versions," no fewer than seven, which are not versions at all but paraphrases which derive from the wicked writings of the two Bible haters, Westcott and Hort. Despite this, a number of writers, each writing a different chapter, refer back to the tried-and-true KJV on occasion. For a book about deception and deceivers, to use confusing and deceptive multiple paraphrased "Bibles" is a serious shortcoming.Factually, most of the book is correct save for David Reagan's belief that the apostolic gifts, which clearly according to Scripture ceased at Pentecost, continue to this day. He is clearly in the charismatic camp and speaks favorably of speaking in tongues, which is nothing more than the utterances of familiar spirits, a phenomenon which is clearly proscribed by Scripture. He refers to the Azusa Street "Revival" in Los Angeles at which Pentecostalism was birthed and which gave rise to a number of demonic groups and practices.Apart from the serious error referred to above, the book contains minor doctrinal differences but does fulfill its main purpose of exposing the incalculable degree of deception prevalent today. There is no question that this deception has infiltrated virtually every church organization extant where the name of some confused "pastor" or "leader" is exalted rather than the Name of Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Many times I have come across those who are steeped in the unscriptural belief that Biblical truth is the province of a particular person who has been to "Bible school" or a "seminary" or some such "formal" setting. The vast majority of these come out of their Bible colleges and universities confused. The author of confusion is not God but Satan. This should tell the discerning student of the Bible something very important: the Bible, God's Holy Word, is of no private interpretation and belongs to no particular group or sect, cult, religion or creed. Anyone who has genuinely accepted Christ as Saviour is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and there is no better teacher than Him.It is a deception in itself to advise a newly saved soul to associate with some "pastor" who may or may not be walking spiritually with God. Further, it is unscriptural to have one person lead a worship meeting or preside over the breaking of bread as we are told not to "quench the Holy Spirit" as this practice most certainly does.So to those who would warn of deception, see that it does not overtake you who would teach of its danger.Otherwise, the book is a worthy read with the above caveats. Using ONLY the KJV would increase the value of "Deceivers" greatly as it would do away with the error and confusion of one of the greatest deception of the latter part of the Church Age, corrupt Bibles.

Important Reading!
This is a very enlightening book. It contains a lot of information that followers of Jesus need in these end days. I like the fact that each chapter is written by a different author, from their area of expertise. One chapter was mostly to do with US affairs so not applicable to Canadians, but otherwise the rest of the book is excellent.
