Sony 3.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Atmos (HT-Z9F) with Wireless Rear Speaker (SA-Z9R)

I bought this about 4 months ago. I'm not a serious audiophile, but I wanted something that would sound good with the TV and just playing music...had to be easy to set up and sound good with no weird surprises. This is it. My old system was a mishmash of 30 year old components...I was desperate for a serious upgrade. I liked the Sonos for it's design, but wasn't sold on the sound. I liked how it was a complete, expandable system.....but again, the sound, for that price, did not impress me. I visited the local Best Buy and the salesman pulled me....literally... over to listen to the Sony, and it was amazing. Do the same....go to a Best Buy, they have both systems. Not only compare the sound of them both, but crank up the Sonos and you'll hear the sound break down at higher volume levels. Not so with the Sony. The Sony will blow you off your feet and sound good..and with rear speakers it's still far less expensive than the Sonos. Haven't had any issues, no problems, thrilled with the Sony, and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a complete system thats easy to install, sounds incredible, easy to operate and available at a decent price. By the way.... if you're looking at a system that's $200-$300 less than this Sony...bite the bullet, and get this one... you won't regret it. You may save some money buying a cheaper system, but you can be certain the sound will reflect the cheaper price tag. ....The Sony is worth it.

Great speakers and easy set up.

These speakers are the perfect setup for surround sound in any room. The rear speakers are small enough to be discreet. They also can be hung up. They have exactly sound and bass to compliment the sound bar and subwoofer. Overall completely satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased the HTZ9F along with the wireless rear speakers over a year ago and had to seek legal assistance due to Sony not addressing the sound cutting out. I even had the entire speaker system sent out to be repaired..no such luck. Sony even replaced the main board in my new Sony TV..no such luck. Please research the web before you purchase as I'm now stuck with a $1k sound system that fails to operate correctly.

Much better than the old one. Had to try to pair the satellite speakers several times to get them to work but all ok now. Voice comes through very good.

One of the best sounding sound bars I've owned. I have a medium sized room and the bar fills it with sound nicely.
