So manageable for short hair
I have very short hair, and I found this item to be very manageable and controllable for short hair. It heats up very quickly and the length makes it easy to curl small sections of hair. Regular hot brushes seemed bulky and hard to manage, but this one curls any difficult places. I did not miss the fact that it had only one temperature.

Great Volume for Fine, Thin Hair
This mini curling iron from PHOEBE has become my go-to styling tool for adding volume and bounce to my fine, thin hair. The 3/4 inch barrel creates beautiful, defined curls without any frizz. The ceramic and tourmaline technology ensures even heat distribution and minimizes heat damage, which is a major plus for my delicate hair. I love how quickly it heats up and how easy it is to use. This curling iron is a fantastic value for the price and has quickly become a staple in my beauty routine.

Very Good, so far.....
I like the way the brush heads grab my hair. It doesn't damage it when "grabbing" it. Some brushes allow the hair to slip through the "teeth", which can be very annoying and take longer to provide curl. So far, so good....I was a bit fearful of the reviews which noted the brush would overheat, but have decided to make certain it's only on for an hour max. It puts my mind at ease.... Perfect size as well. The cord tends to be a little long and unruly, but I'm pretty certain it will bend and move easier over time. The price was about the same on all of the brushes I looked at, so I'd say this was a good buy!

GETS HOT AND NO HEAT CONTROL
I just received this curling brush and have used it once. My first impression is that it's great for my fine, thin, straight and liimp hair. It holds the hair where with other products, my fine hair just slipped off the brush. It holds the hair and in a few seconds gives me the curls I want. The only down side is that there is no heat control, and this brush does get hot, so one must be very careful not to leave the hair rolled up in it too long or it WILL burn, I'm sure.

Gives my very straight short hair style and lift in minutes
I have a pixie bob and need to shampoo every day. Styling products and hair colours and treatments are a no go due to allergies and I don’t have the patience to spend much time on my straight hair as it usually just goes flat against my scalp no matter what I do. I use this tool after blowing my hair dry or even leaving it to dry naturally making sure it is completely dry. It does the trick making my hair look well groomed in about three minutes, not curled, but it gives a little body, direction and shine. I was concerned that as it was so inexpensive it would not be well made, but it is a good quality tool and it arrived in very sturdy packaging. It only has an on/off switch with an indicator light to let you know it is on, there is no heat indicator so I leave it heat up for a minute or so, I don’t find any problems with this. The temperature seems sufficient and the round tipped prongs keep the heated strips away from direct contact with my hands and scalp. The prongs work well to grip a bit, they aren’t really slippery and hold my hair in one place or as I slowly move the brush through. It has a small barrel which is great on my 3-4” long hair. Overall it is small enough to neatly store on a narrow bathroom shelf. I have been using it about three weeks now. I am using it on 240volts, no need to change anything to set this voltage. It will be great to travel with, it even has its own little travel bag to keep the prongs away from your clothes.

Please don't use this if you have shoulder length+ hair! I did and now have a bald spot!
I have shoulder length hair. I have been curling my hair, using a myriad of curling irons, for going on 40 years. Yes, from the straight, Ali Macgraw hair of the '70s, to the billowing Farrah Fawcett looks of the '80s and beyond, I have spent hours on end (yes, decades), curling and coiffing my locks. I purchased this curling iron for a recent trip abroad, excited to be visiting my daughter in Australia. I was looking for ways to save space and weight in my suitcase. Little did I know then, that I would be saving weight in other ways! I returned to the US with less hair than I started. Sadly, this curling iron became hopelessly entangled (yes, cemented!) in my hair! I was traveling with my 20-something daughter, when the iron got stuck in my hair (in a hotel room, with not a pair of scissors to be had), and the two of us struggled to remove the hair from the hot iron, and in a panic we pulled my hair out by the roots! Resulting in a 1-inch bald spot! I am still in shock! In hindsight, I acknowledge it would have been far better to let my hair fry on the iron, rather than pull it out, but having seen the Youtube video where a girl burns off her hair while demonstrating how to use a curling iron, my daughter and I were acting reflexively to a situation we'd never (and hope to never again!) encountered. Having had "long hair" in the past, I didn't consider my shoulder length hair to be "long hair" (the description for this product says it is not for use with "long" hair). In writing this I'm hoping to spare some future traveler the trauma I experienced. For me, it could have been worse. The bald spot I'm now sporting is on the back of my head and is covered by my remaining (albeit spare) hair. But what if it had been on my part? Or along my hairline, by my face? Dodged a bullet, but still traumatized, nonetheless.

Easy to use dual voltage
I just went to look for a dual voltage brush for European travel and discovered that this is the brush iron I bought 4 years ago and I love it . My hair is fine but natural curl and past my shoulders layered. It small and fits in its own bag and I always wondered why in previous trips it didn’t blow out! This is my favorite as it is easy to use. Granted I don’t use daily as I have natural wave and am a pony tail gal a lot but it works great and fast when I need a curl to wear my hair down . Guess I don’t need to buy another one as it still works great !
