I don't understand - is this a complete barbell, complete dumbbell, and a complete kettlebell?

No - You have to assemble the one you're using by connecting it to the single set of adjustable weights. While it's easy to set up each handle with weights, only one is fully assembled at a time.

How much space does the whole system take to store?

If storing with the dumbbell assembled, it takes about as much space as a large shoebox.

How do I go from mode to mode?

Rotate the handle to the minimum weight, and lift. All the plates will be left on the rack. Switching handles is done by removing the magnetic bolts, detaching one handle, and attaching another to the weight fasteners.

Do I need change the rack assembly for use with the different handles?

Yes - there's a different set of rack connector poles for each set-up. Whenever you switch between kettlebell, dumbbell, and barbell mode, you'll also need to do it for the rack.

Can I use the handles with other weight plates which are not included in the set?

No. The set is made to be used only with the included pieces.
