Newman's Own Organics French Roast, Single-Serve Keurig K-Cup Pods, Dark Roast Coffee, 96 Count

Best cup of coffee EVER! Before this French Roast, my favorite was the Newman's Special Blend. After my first taste of the Newman's Own Organic French Roast, I am forever a FAN! I feel like I should buy all that I can in case they stop making it. I drink my coffee straight and this blend is simply delicious and strong with no after taste. I kid you not, every time I have a cup, I have to smile and say "MAN! this is a good cup of coffee."

I ordered this and received it within a week, but I was surprised to find that it was not in it's original packaging and that the individual k-cups had the stamp of Best Used By 10/16/16!!! My husband loves Newman's French Roast coffee for it's bold taste, and I was disappointed that once I saw the best use for date was over two years out of date that I couldn't return the product. I wish this information had been included in the description as it would have made a difference to me when ordering.

I like s-t-r-o-n-g coffee. But I don't like bitter coffee. Who does?I recently bought a Keurig and a wide variety of variety type offerings of different coffees. You know the ones. I was EXCITED to get a Keurig, you see, even though our Bunn drip does make better coffee overall (1/2 each of Starbucks Columbia and 1/2 Starbucks House decaf but made strong). But with afternoon coffee breaks here and there, it just seemed better to use the Keurig as desired rather than making a full pot or having several different ground coffees stored up, waiting to lose their flavor. I had probably about ten different dark roasts from different companies which included French roast coffee K-cups from which to choose. Some were bland and one dimensional. Some were a bit bitter. And even using the 8 oz size mug choice and on STRONG brew, some lacked flavor.And then in the mix of a large variety from which to choose came along the K cups of Newman's Organic French Roast. WOW! WHAT a difference over the other ten or so different varieties I had tried! Unbelievably better, I tell you! I had already made up my mine to buy a bunch of these and make these my forever go-to even though I thought they might cost more per cup. Nope! The price was VERY competitive and I hadn't even noticed yet that this is organic coffee. Win-win! My other K-cups will find new homes. No sense in wasting them! But once you've had the very best French Roast AND it's organic AND it's Newman's (charity work), you won't go back to any of the others! THIS IS A GREAT CUP OF COFFEE!!!!

RE: French roast. The 96 pods I ordered were not loose. They were packed in 4 boxes of 24, which is how I prefer them to be shipped. Very fresh tasting and with an expiry date of sometime in 2021.

I was excited to try this coffee out, we love dark roasts and looked forward to it. Drank some cups and thought whats wrong here and then I got to the bottom of the cup and got the bitterest flavor very strong. I had no idea what was up with that and could not drink another cup. When I say bitter I mean bitter. Waited a few days and tried it again and now its ruined for me, still tastes bitter not as bad but a bitter after taste. I like most Newman products but will not buy this again.

Newman's French roast is delicious. I'm a huge Newman's Own Organic coffee drinker.I enjoy drinking dark and medium roasts. I will admit the French roast taste is not very strong, but that's what happens when it's an organic brand. No artificial crap in it to make it a strong French roast flavor. It is a very good smooth dark rich K-cup. I do enjoy it

Newmans Own Products allow me to be a happy and satified consumer! So far, every Newmans Own product my family and I have bought is top notch ~ This coffee is a perfectly balanced and tasty to the last drop!

I love this coffee. I have ordered this before and it was fine. But this time , I have tried them for a week, the coffee is week and taste different. The Best Buy date is good. Not sure why it’s different.
