Ignore older reviews. Great product does what it says
Excellent product. Others complained about the length of the cord with the controller, but that must have been fixed because the cord is now over 5' long with the controller at the halfway point. Easy access and control. Also, someone complained about the battery output. I've been doing a daily session for about a month and I've never used more than 25% of the battery during a session. My hat size is larger than normal, but probably average for a 6' 4" male, and it fits great.I can't say for sure that I'm growing any hair back yet, but the cap is doing exactly what it was advertised to do.

Highly recommend
In general, if you’re looking at reviews and are turned off when you see any amount of 1-star ratings, make sure to take time to read those reviews. In this case, you’ll see that the negative reviews have nothing to do with the quality of the product, and simply reaching out to the seller would have brought about a satisfactory conclusion.I know this because I emailed the seller twice, and they replied quickly. I’m as happy as can be with this. I’ve had it for two months, so I don’t know if it’s helping yet.It works exactly as advertised, and the seller will help if you have any questions or problems with the item.

A BIG DISAPPOINTMET
I will be returning this device. The enter section of this device is cracked near the LEDS. The instructions are vague and makes no sense and in small print. I used a magnifying glass to read. There are no specifications enclosed that describes the item purchased. A complete disappointment.

Charging pack for cap doesn’t hold charge
Item looked decent quality - red light cap and hat to cover. This is corded with a small charge block that powers it. Used once worked fine did red light and then blue light. Needed to be charged again for second use, doesn’t seem to charge properly. Very weak white light on charge block then shuts off after coming on for a minute or 2. Trying to work around using a personal portable charger so I use the cap.

It works, it just takes time
Quite a long time has passed since the purchase and I can say that the product works, it just takes time. Also, after a week of use, I noticed that my hair began to fall out less, and after a couple of months, there was a feeling that there was more hair on my head.

comfortable to wear with much lower price
I ever ordered expensive one but it made me headache, I returned it , i still need to grow hair my bold spots, so bought this 4 light which is much lower price to have a try. it did not make me headache and very comfortable to wear with 20 minutes on red/blue, it is too early to tell the result, does not matter how expensive Or cheap ? make the hair growing to cover bold spots is the target

Early on, seems to be working. You get what you pay for.
The literature is decent for infra- and red-light laser scalp treatment for androgen-sensitive alopecia. Fair enough. This unit seems to work. In conjunction with ketoconazole shampoo, oral minoxidil, I am growing some hair back. I have not had it long, but I am pleased with the results. The price is good relative to other similar products, particularly for given stats. But there are some really odd corners cut, especially given how cheap nice electronics are in China. For example, the USB power cable is very thin and flimsy and it is about a meter long, which is uncomfortably short. Even 1.5 meters would be easier, 2 probably optimal. The on off switch is about 40 cm from the hat, so it hangs in your blind spot. I guess it doesn't matter since it has no visual indicator of whether it is on and in which mode it is. Seriously, you can integrate a 1' OLED screen into anything now for a few dollars, and why not put it where I can actually see it? I have to feel around for the flat, membrane switch (also feels poor) and listen for the beep.I try to avoid looking at the light output (although there is at least one paper that showed that IR/red was safe and possibly beneficial to the retina), so there is a bit of guesswork with this thing perched precariously on my head like a salad bowl. I can see reflected red light off of objects around me. Enough to know it is working.I guess, my feeling though: I'd rather pay $10 more for a longer, braided power cable, better switch with some kind of haptic feedback and indicator and slightly better fit/workmanship.Maybe I should be happy they got the price point down so much--I looked at similar devices for $1200. But it's so close to being really good.It does seem to be working and is not obviously harmful.

I'm EXCITED!
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this therapy seems to be working! I'm Excited! I will do another follow-up in a few months.
