FSA/HSA Eligible, Vaunn Medical Bathroom Patented Height Adjustable Height Toilet Rail Grab Bar and Commode Safety Frame Handle

Recently had a surgical procedure that prevents me from bending and lifting for several weeks. Post op this easy to install sturdy seat has been a God send. Those who complain of shifting may need to retighten over time with use, but I have found the seat very stable. It may not be super suitable for those with wide hips. However, I have had no problems with the width allocation of the arm rests. In terms of leakage, there has been none. The seat cleans easily, and I may just leave it in place following my recovery as it is comfortable and easy to use with a squatty potty. Greatly useful product!

Bought this product for my dad and it works fantastically!!! He needed that extra support to help him off the toilet but we didn’t want to make permanent changes to the bathroom. Wow, this product allowed him to have the independence he needed without the construction’ and cost of revamping the bathroom. Sturdy, good quality, easy to install, good value and most importantly safe.

This was a product for an elderly sister. The chair was very easy to assemble and fit perfectly around the toilet. However the minimum height of 27 inches was too high for her. Probably should have purchased a 24 in height chair. But with a little effort I was able to modify the legs to produce a range of 23 to 25 inches in height so all is good. The chair is very stable and the suction feet adds to that stability.

I’ve only had this product a short time but it seems to be an excellent product with one flaw. It is made of a heavy, sturdy material. The instructions were easy to understand. It was easy to put together. It took me about 20 minutes & I just used a small wrench. All the parts were in the box. It fits around my toilet comfortably.The flaw is mentioned by other reviewers & is its shakiness. I’m a tall person but don’t have the arm rests set very high & that seems to make it less shaky. I am able to use both hands though & that seems to make a big difference. I think the manufacturer may want to add USE 2 HANDS on the instructions. If you are able to use 2 hands with this product, I think it will work fine for you.

These toilet rails are working and we can’t really find anything wrong with them. We felt that freestanding rails are a good alternative when built-in grab bars aren’t possible. We looked at several models and decided that this style with the frame flat on the floor looked more stable than the standard four-footed models. It does tip forward a bit if you put your weight too far forward on the handles, but just put your hand back a bit and it’s fine. The instructions tell you as much.The rails were very easy to put together. It was assembled and around the toilet in minutes. It was suddenly a weird feeling to have arm rests on the toilet. Comfy, but weird. The toilet was now a chair! LOL! So there’s a bit of a perk for household members who don’t need to use the rails for lifting purposes, and they’ll find that the rails do not affect the normal functionality of the toilet. For those who need the handles to hold on to, it’s a game changer. We should have bought this simple gadget years ago.Just pay attention to the dimensions. The description says it’s 28” across. Add a smidge to that. We measured it at a bit more than 28” because of the wing nuts that you see on the side. The frame was 27” from corner to corner, plus about a half inch on each side for the nut (it’s hard to measure that nut exactly). So their 28” is fair. But measuring the floor space that it takes from the nut jammed up against the edge of the baseboard to the opposite side’s nut, it was a bit over 28”. So just check your clearance around your toilet. Honestly, we didn’t check. We just figured it would fit in our normal toilet space. It just barely fit because of where the wall is positioned on one side. Whew! If that baseboard was any wider, we may have had to send this back. But it’s in place, it’s functional, and the toilet is a bit safer.

Great support and ease of use!

Very sturdy once attached to the toilet.Raised the height making it less of a drop to sit down.The rails offered a safer and much sturdier sit down. The rails allow for a stronger balance when going down to sit. They also aid the same whenstanding up.Don't worry about messy drops. We all poop. The circumference of the opening allows for a clean drop. The only thing you will be cleaning each time you poop is your behind.You don't need a medical reason to use this product. This is great for elderly or anyone needing to raise the height of your toilet and add extra support for balance. I used it and found it very useful myself. I suffer with back issues and found it more comfortable to sit and stand up from the toilet. It took a lot of pressure off my back from where I suffer from. A great deal of pain.

This is our second purchase of this item. Having the adjustable height is very handy. However, this one had apparently been returned or opened previously and one of the pipe end caps was missing. It is too much trouble to return just for that and this is the reason for the three star rating. So be warned, if you can tell package has been resealed, some parts may be missing. Other than that, quality of item is very good and had all the parts been there would rate it five star.

The product itself is wonderful - right size, easy to put together,However the shipper (FedEx) damaged the unit. The seller did allow for return. Great seller by the way. I’ve asked to be notified once more in stock.

I am now able to go away & stay in a verity of accommodation styles knowing that I can use the toilet and not require any help . Thanks to the Vaunn Delux Safety Toilet Rail we can travel again. Also easy to use and store. Money well spent. Thank You
