If you are looking for a motion sensor device that runs off battery or power (supplied), then look no further. The motion sensor alarm is supplied in three boxes. In the packets you get the alarm itself, a power supply (9-15v?), a connecting cable, mounting tape and screws.You also get a very retro remote, it resembles a little speak and spell with an aerial.Of course It is entirely upto you how you mount the sensor device, but it has a rotateable head with 90 degree adjustability and 15 degree sensor sensetivity.The actual unit itself has on/off switch, power port, alarm/chime adjust and volume.You can change the alarm to a chime, and it has 32 selectable melodies, the alarm is quite literally a police style siren and it is very loud. The sensor is sensetive to about 5-6 metres and does work well in any position I set it up in. The remote has a range of around 25-30 metres and is very retro in look. It controls the alarm set/reset or disarm and mode switching. It can be attached to your keyring for portability, just remember to stow the tiny aerial before you do this.The purpose of the device is more of a deterrant than anything else, and can be used and installed outside too say to a garage or shed for example. useful if you need to monitor a door or window or some form of entry point. I recently set up the TOWODE Wireless PIR Motion Sensor Door Bell in my shop, and it's been quite handy overall. The setup was a breeze, and the different modes and adjustable volume are fantastic for customizing alerts to my needs. The sensor does a great job of picking up movement within its range, which is precisely what I wanted to keep an eye on visitors. However, the battery life leaves much to be desired, and the included power cable is frustratingly short, making placement a hassle if you're not near a power outlet. Despite these minor inconveniences, it's still a solid product that earned me four stars.

I have to say my first impression when this tumbled out of the small box it was crammed into was that this was a cheap gimmicky plastic novelty that's going to fall apart in pretty short order.Well that "short order" was very short indeed, as it parted company with the plastic swivel stand as soon as it took that few inches tumbles from the box to the table.However, it would seem probable that it hadn't properly been in position in the first place as when I clipped it back t had no problem staying there pretty securely.And it transpires that as plasticky and as unprepossessing as this device is, it is actually remarkably effective.The motion sensor is very good, the alarm is very audible and has multiple choices - the voice option does feature a distinctively Japanese voice, so personally I prefer the music option - it's less jarring than the alarm option if using it as an automatic doorbell.For an intruder alarm or a toddler alarm (positioned to register if a child gets out of a crib or out of a door etc at night, for example).It can be angled up and down it has adequate volume and "shrill factor" if I may describe it as such. That's at max volume - fortunately it does have four volume level settings.It is discreet and portable - it can be run off mains power or by 3 AAA batteries - and very effective despite it's diminutive size, and I think it's very good value.
