Love this product! Lot’s of great features
Great value here! Especially considering you get 6 of them. I really like how easy they are to attach to a keychain, molle system etc...plus you can throw them on a Picatinny rail, which can be helpful at the range. So far, they’ve fit in every gun I’ve used, from rifles to pistols...Even a tiny, pocket .380 ACP.As far as quality, they seem fantastic, and are a very hard plastic material. I wouldn’t necessarily drop the bolt of your AR onto one of these , but they are plenty strong and I don’t anticipate any issues.I attached an “empty chamber” keychain to some of these, and it really makes it obvious to the range officer whether or not your weapon is empty.I definitely recommend them. 5 stars!

Excellent Product For A Good Price
My AR-15 came with a yellow chamber safety flag, which I used constantly, switching it to whatever semi-auto I happen to be using at the time. I've been wanting more but the yellow ones like I had are ridiculously expensive. Found a set of these orange Monstrum flags for a good price and now have one in every semi to demonstrate an empty chamber. They're functional, obvious and cost effective. I liked them so much, I bought a set for each person on my deer lease as a Christmas present.

Item itself is great but item oversight by Monstrum disappointing.
The actual item is great & worth 5 stars. It works as intended and being able to snap it onto a rail while shooting is a very nice feature. I put a keychain "empty chamber" onto one of these as well so it's especially easy to see that the chamber is empty & safe, especially at the range. However, I ordered from the manufacturer (Monstrum) and it was fulfilled by Amazon. Somewhere in the process the item was opened & two of the chamber flags were removed, so I only received 4 total. I don't need more than 4 so I am just keeping it, especially since I probably would have paid the same amount for 4 of them anyways. But it's still disappointing that one of the two companies missed that the product was not in new condition/unopened or knew that this item was returned after being opened & still sold it as new. I didn't deduct anything from the product score above because errors happen & the product is otherwise amazing.

Works on almost any gun
Love these. They are durable and work in everything I have from .22 pistols on up to my rifles. The only thing it wasn't great with was my .308 bold action rifle. The bolt has no spring, of course, so it just sits in there loosely. However, on that particular gun I have a rail and the device is made to slide onto rails. Problem solved. Pair this with Empty Chamber flags and you have taken a good step forward in gun safety.

Smart, Simple and Snug-fitting
This will be a simple review for a simple product.I'm a fan of these. They fit and serve their purpose in all of my firearms except (for obvious reasons) the revolvers and my Kel-Tec KSG shotgun.I was pleased with how snug these chamber flags hold onto the picatinny rails. The photo included is of it on a PSA freefloating slim handguard. The chamber flag slid firmly into place on the rail and feels like it'll stay put (I haven't been to the range with it yet).I appreciate there is a loop molded in where I can attach a tag or lanyard. I'm likely going to take advantage of that feature.

Must have for the range these days
Was needing a chamber flag at the range and a guy in the next lane lent me one of these. I was sold on its sturdiness and durability and ordered them as soon as I got home. Great product if you need chamber flags at your local shooting range and I have no doubt that this will stand up to bolt releases for a long time to come.

Adequate but has problems
The first time I dropped the bolt onto the Monstrum flag, it broke. This was at a competition where chamber flags are required, therefore everyone was delayed while I stood there like an idiot until someone loaned me a spare flag. So if you have these, be sure to slowly and gently ride the bolt forward. The loaner was a UTG flag. Naturally I rode the bolt forward every single time I could remember to do so, but habits die hard so I forgot a few times and accidentally used the bolt release. Thankfully the UTG flag holds up just fine to that. The other problem I have with the Monstrum flag is that I can't actually store it on a picatinny rail because it is way too tight to fit onto the rail. So that feature is basically useless and you'll just have to store the flag in your pocket or whatever. Or course if they made it loose, it could fall off and you'd lose it. So I think this particular feature just isn't very well thought out or particularly useful. So the only remaining feature this has over other flags is the screwdriver, which is probably adequate for turning scope adjustment knobs.
