I've only had these shears for a short time, but my first impression is really good. The first thing I noticed was the weight. They have a nice solid feel in your hand and don't feel flimsy at all. They feel like a quality tool the moment you pick them up. The handles are comfortable and fit my hand well. They open and close smoothly, and they don't feel awkward or uncomfortable to use. Right out of the box they're extremely sharp. They cut cleanly without feeling like you have to force them through whatever you're cutting. What impressed me the most is how balanced they feel. They're not blade-heavy or handle-heavy—they just feel right. That balance, combined with the solid weight, makes them feel very controlled and easy to use. As far as performance goes, they've done everything I've asked of them so far. I have no doubt they'll be great for trimming meat, cutting up chicken, snipping herbs, or opening food packages. They just feel like they were built to be used. I obviously can't speak about long-term durability yet, but based on the thick blades, sturdy pivot, and the fact that they even included replacement springs, they seem like they're built to last. I'll hand wash them with soap and water, dry them right away, and I think they'll hold up just fine. For the money, I'm honestly impressed. They feel like a much more expensive pair of kitchen shears. If they hold up as well as they feel, I think they're going to be one of the best values in my kitchen

When your done messing around with 'crap' kitchen scissors, you'll want this. I got a bullet smoker for the holidays in 2025. I learned how to 'spatchcock' a turkey. (It's easy...IF you have this tool). Quality, sharp, excellent design, great leverage. It made my life easier. The only possible improvement would. be some kind of force ratcheting but then you'd trade off 'cleaning' difficulty'. Had I any idea the functional difference between this an your typical 'quality' kitchen shears, I would of sought out something like this decades ago. Quality, feels like a lifetime purchase no matter what your age.

This is a fantastice Shear. My 16 year old son, who is an aspiring chef was able to spatchcock a chicken so quickly and cleanly. So much easier than using a knife. It is easy to clean, heavy duty, well made and a great addition to any kitchen. I am left handed, and you would thing the design would acomodate that, but I struggled a little with it - maybe I am just uncoordinated. - but even with that said, it was head and shoulders easier to use than regular shears. I am loving this so far and am looking at other products from this brand.

These things are awesome! Will cut thru any kind of meat. A little hard to hold with small hands.

These shears are very well made. They cut through skin and bone pretty easy. The only problem is you have to have a lot of hand strength to get them to cut. They are very heavy and my hands just aren’t strong enough. I just use them against the counter or sink for leverage.

I purchased these shears to replace a pair of plastic-handled ones that finally gave out. I don't know how I got along without these. A must have!

Einwandfrei, super scharf, auch bis in die Spitze. Das Hähnchen ließ sich super einfach zerlegen. Ich würde die Schere jederzeit wieder kaufen

I am a mad spatchcocker of chickens, which allows for more even cooking between white and dark meat (they are done at the same time), and so was tired of breaking cheap kitchen scissors or dulling chef's knives. These shears are spatchcock-ready, for the spatchcocker in your life, or for anyone who has wanted to become a spatchcock enthusiast by spatchcocking a chicken, duck, turkey, goose etc. (they are all eminently spatchcockable). They seem well-built and are easy to clean in the dishwasher. The price is good, too -- spatchcocking ruins scissors, so if these hold up over the next 10 times I spatchcock something, they will have paid for themselves. Do yourself a favour and get spatchcocking!
