Fluance IB40 Turntable Isolation Base Anti-Vibration Wood Platform for Enhanced Sound Clarity and Superior Damping with Height Adjustable Feet, Bubble Level, Universal Compatibility- Piano White

Quality piece, a great isolation platform and I’ve had the usual Za Zen, pro-ject ones in my time, this one beats them all hands down, notable difference in sound, lovely aesthetics a beautiful gloss black finish

Only have to say it does what it says on the box and looks good.

This is a great platform for my record deck. The built-in bubble allows you to make sure it is level. The dark gloss wood finish makes for a smart look.

Arrived quickly and well packaged and is finished in piano black paint to a high standard. Purchased to level my turntable on a glass shelf, is easy to set up. The sound has improved with deeper and tight bass and individual instruments easier to pick out. Whether this improvement is because of the levelling of the turntable or the effect of the platform is open to debate, but if you are looking for an isolation platform you should consider this item. Highly recommended.

Great, simple piece of kit. If you have an uneven floor or it’s just not quality then this solves the problem. Your turntable deserves to sit on something solid and flat.

The isolation base improved things somewhat, but not entirely - my stylus still skipped occasionally when anyone walked by the turntable. I have wooden floors, which transmit vibration. After some research I bought these isolation pads (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076DGD3X2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) and placed them under the feet of the isolation base, and the combination has done the trick. The platform itself is beautifully made and actually enhances the look of the turntable setup!

A quality isolation base at a decent price. My Fluance RT82 is on a not very stedy floor as everytime I walked past it the album skipped but that's all sorted now with the new isolation base. Recommended! 🎶 ~Hifi_Phill

Significantly reduced vibration but not entirely but have now cured that... nonetheless, am very happy with purchase and would recommend.

Sirve perfectamente y muy buena calidad

Snabb leverans. Varan 5/5

I added this fluance base to my Fluance walnut RT85 turtable. It's awesome and definately adds another layer of anti-vibration. When lowered the base sits 3/4" off the surface. The turntable sits 1.5" off the surface. It didnt look right to me so I ordered MECCANIXITY isolation feet from Amazon, drilled, tapped and epox'd a M6 - 0.5 x 20mm set screws in them. I added a silicon 0-ring on the set screw which provides leveling adjustment, isolation damping and anti-turning for the feet. Very happy with the isolation performance with matching height (esthetics) now. It only made sense to also add a Fluance Record Weight Stabilizer. I first bought a Fluance RT85 turntable and a new amp to replace my vintage turntable and amp. In total I've also added (all available at Amazon) ; a Model 50 Marrantz integrated anaolog amp; a Fluance silicon mat; isolation outriggers for my RC70 tower speakers; zero carbon silver plated copper speaker wire; a Fluance subwoofer; custom isolation feet; a high quality subwoofer cable; an Ortofon Bronze cartridge; a record cleaner and even anti static cloths. Each one of these items had a positive effect on the sound to some degree. Everything together is absolutely incredible. Adding a new album now again from Amazon to the vinyl collection is a pleasure. I'll note that regardless of digital remastered 180g coppies of classic albums play back in analog on a turntable.

Ma platine regarde P2 et posse sur un meuble en verre,et j'ai entendu la différence quand je l'ai installé sur la base ib40 le son et plus musical tout simplement très surpris de la différence.

As someone who’s been spinning vinyl since the 1970s, I’ve gone through more isolation platforms, mats, and accessories than I can count. The Fluance Isolation Base is one of the few modern upgrades that genuinely impressed me. The moment I set my turntable on it, the difference was unmistakable. Bass tightened up, surface noise dropped, and the overall presentation felt more controlled and refined. It’s the kind of improvement you notice immediately—especially if you’ve spent decades listening closely to the nuances of analog playback. The build quality is outstanding. It has that solid, substantial feel that reminds me of the heavy, well‑engineered audio gear from the golden age of hi‑fi. The isolation feet do an excellent job absorbing vibration, and the base itself looks sharp and professional in any setup. If you’ve been into vinyl for years—or even if you’re just starting out—this is a worthwhile upgrade. It brings out the best in your turntable without any fuss, and it delivers results that seasoned listeners will appreciate.
