My husband and I just cannot get over this complete and lovely violin set, especially for the cost. Before I go on, I have never held a violin before, nor do I play. I grew up playing and purchasing several guitars, so I am familiar with music stores and how much instruments and cases cost. The case on this is sturdy and very nicely lined, with a soft separate lining piece to cover the violin for protection. You get two bows, rosin, two bridges and an extra set of strings. The case has a top handle and carrying straps on the back, along with the compartment inside, clips to hold the bows in place and a zippered pouch on the front. There were no instructions with ours on how to set up the bridge, but we watched a you tube video, and my husband got it set up and tuned on his own. I find the violin itself to be of a decent quality, with a pretty finish to it. We are pleased with everything in this set and think it is a wonderful beginner set for both young and old. Highly recommend!

First one i got the strings were broke and it had something rattling on the inside. got a replacement and tried it out and couldnt get anything to work on it. there was no beginners instructions or anything that came with it. took it o my local music go round and they informed me that in the 30 years that they had been there that they had never seen one that was so cheap and piss poorly put together. after hearing that i tossed it in my dumpster because it was past the return date by then
