iVANKY 4K@144Hz Steam Deck Dock, 8-in-1 Docking Station with 65W Adapter

Needed a proper dock for my Steam Deck because I found myself docking it more often as time went on, and a standard MacBook USB Dongle wasn't cutting it. I also have a few gaming monitors dedicated for my tower and aforementioned dongle could not output more than 60hz refresh rate... it was time to buy this thing! And oh boy did it over and exceed expectation. Feels very sturdy, perfectly secure on my smooth glass table. The wire feels amazingly threaded for durability and can even dock a Nintendo Switch. I also experimented with laptops and phones... it also works flawlessly with those. The weight was reasonable and it's portable. The ethernet works phenomenally, as did the USB ports; and for the cherry on top, they even threw in a few thumb grips for my controller(s). Absolutely went out and beyond for its price PLUS I purchased this at a discounted price. Charging speed is dependent on the power adapter, so if you already own a Nintendo Switch one or something similar with Type-C USB, the setup is easy peasy. Can't get much better than that. 100% value and 100% recommendation to anyone owning the Steam Deck.

The steam deck dock is amazing the compact size makes it easy for smaller spaces the, the speed is instant so there is no delay and the connectivity is simple and can connect my charger my Bluetooth mouse and my monitor to my steam deck just using this device

It was good until Stopped working after 2 months, connect to my steamdeck anymore all of a sudden, the steamdeck screen doesn't turn black when plugged in nor does it display in my tv, even the firmware update doesn't work with it. Kinda hurt my feelings not gonna lie. Update, support helped out and FIXED MY ISSUE with no problem, super nice now I can get back to gaming.😁

Purchased the dock, worked well until audio stopped being delivered over HDMI as well as issues with delivering proper 4k @144hz signal. Proceeded to contact support about a possible replacement, due to having registered my product my warranty had extended graciously enough to allow the product to be replaced, extremely helpful support team as well a very timely responses. 10 out of 10 willingness to continue to purchase iVANKY products.

I've been trying to make this product work for playing my Ally on the TV for about a year and honestly I'm pretty disappointed. First of all if you're looking for seamless docking plug and play on the TV like a switch this is not it. I've spent more time fiddling with getting the controller to sync properly than actually playing games. Something about how most games run when connected to this dock is extremely laggy, and lots of input delay... I've basically given up on trying to run the ally on any other screen after hours of troubleshooting. Additionally and probably my biggest gripe is that the battery will drain while running the screen to the TV even with athe recommended 100w charger connected. So even if you get the settings perfect... You're at the mercy of a draining battery on the dock. At this point all I use this for is a direct Ethernet connection to my Ally when downloading games... That and charging when there arent any apps running is about all this thing does well. I see lots of other good reviews so maybe I got a dud or something... Pretty frustrated with the time I've spend getting less than ideal performance.

I use this with my ROG Ally and have no complaints. It's straight-forward to set yourself up and I'm using my ROG power adapter plugged into the dock. It's also easy to unplug power when I want to take that with me. The dock has a nice weight to it to ensure the handheld won't tip over if bumped or a cable yanked, so that's nice. I chose this dock because I'm new to handheld PCs and just wanted something basic and cheap to see if I liked the docked experience. I've been really pleased with this and have had no issues at all doing everything I want with it. Also, we used this with a Legion Go too and it worked fine with that as well. The size of the Legion made the dock look tiny but functionally it worked good.

I got this dock not for a pc handheld device but as the USB-C to HDMI conversion function for my Macbook Pro M1. Macbook M1's are software limited by Apple to only 60hz when using standard USB-C to HDMI cable because it uses the HDMI protocol. If you use the USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 then it can output up to 4k 120hz. However, I'm hooking this macbook up to an HDTV which only has HDMI but the TV can support 144hz. When I saw this dock, I decided to give it a try and to my utter most surprise, it is able to push 144hz! All the movement is now buttery smooth! Note that the USB-A ports only support 5gbps so it could be slow if you are using this for file transfer. If attaching peripherals then there is no problem. And the 100W PD pass through is perfect for the mac as well. This dock was much cheaper than a dedicated Mac Hub and most of them don't even dare to claim 4k 120hz let alone 144hz.

Produit non adapté au ROG XBOX Ally X, la version xbox avec ses poignées plus imposantes pose un sérieux problème, le dock ne retient pas le ROG. Qui plus est, le chargeur acheté avec, n'est pas exclusif au territoire français et l'adaptateur fourni pour l'embout de la prise ne permet pas la charge. Donc cela fait quand même beaucoup, à éviter pour un ROG ally XBOX + une prise pas destinée au marché français, je ne saurais que trop conseiller de prendre un chargeur sans adaptateur, donc ne pas prendre de chargeur chez eux. Le service commercial iVANKY a été très "classe", ces derniers m'ont remboursé les 7 € pour l'embout d'adaptateur au courant européen, et ce, alors que je ne leur demandais rien, preuve s'il en est, de leur sérieux. Concernant la problématique de maintien de la rog xbox ally X, vous devrez utiliser le support carton fourni avec (même si ce n'est pas idéal, notez que le problème ne concerne que la version xbox). Note mise à jour.

Its a great dock, good build quality, has ethernet, hdmi and 3 USB-A ports alongside power delivery port which are good enough for attaching additional gamepads, mouse/keyboards to operate Asus Rog Ally as a full desktop pc. Its just plug and play and offers good sturdy stand for rog ally. I got it for around Rs. 5650 with card offers on sale and for this price or around 6k I think its worth it. I am able to use Turbo 30W mode of rog ally on this using rog ally's adapter but a adapter upto 100W could also be used with this (this doesn't come with any power adapter). Also, I have a 150Mbps connection and using the lan cable I am able to see it using full bandwidth.. I have also tried copying files using Lan from another computer to this and I am able to see 100MB + (Megabytes) per second data transfer speed which is great.

This is a bit of a difficult one to review as it simply does exactly what it is supposed to do do. It connects my Steam Deck OLED to a TV and charges it at the same time. The Steam Deck Fits perfectly and is secure. The charging cable fits easily. I've had no issues with HDMI output. Any issues such as selecting the correct resolution have been to do with the Steam Deck itself. I have output to 4K and it worked as intended. Generally though I have had it attached to a 1080p gaming monitor and it has been flawless. I have attached a keyboard and a wrired controller to the dock and both were recognized with no perceptable lag or connection issues. Really, the main thing to consider is just the amount of USB ports. I don't need any more for my purposes, but I can't really think of what other issues users may have, unless they are not using a Steam Deck, which I can't comment on. One little thing is that I purchased the blue (or whatever colour it is) version without realising and I don't even notice the colour if that is a concern.
