Comprehensive book on homemade natural remedies
This is a large selection of herbal recipes for tea, juice and broth that can be made at home. This is a good book to have as reference or as a gift to someone planning to use natural remedies. The recipes are organized by herb type in the first section but readers can easily find a solution to conditions related to respiration, digestion and more in the following chapters. Tip: herbal remedy beginners should look at the Addressing Common Ailments section, where typical issues like colds and flu, headaches and allergies are addressed via natural recipes. The book also offers holistic practices to complement the natural remedies. Readers interested in mindful and movement exercises have two chapters dedicated to introducing techniques like mindful walking, nature bathing and low-impact cardio.

The natural remedies of our grandparents
I have had a severe toothache for two weeks and I have taken Tylenol but I feel no relief. Then I read this book and I found the natural remedy based on clove oil and cinnamon. I made it following the instructions on the recipe and I have been using it for the pain and I have felt great relief that you cannot imagine. It is a very useful book, it is practically an encyclopedia of natural medicine. It includes remedies for digestive pain, inflammation, cough, sinusitis, headaches, among many others, and the recipes are detailed with natural ingredients that you will often find at home or in stores. In addition, the author gives you the recommended doses and, as always, recommends being careful not to overuse them. I loved the book; I learned something new and useful that can help me improve my health. I recommend it.

Herbal medicine and natural remedies
It is truly amazing how nature is stocked with its own medicinal properties. Learning about herbs and holistic care is what all of us should include in our lives. In this book Barbara O'Neill teaches us how to make antibiotcs with Garlic and Lemon; just one example. There are so many remedies for the body and for the immune system (boosters) sometimes with what we already have in our kitchen or garden. It can be as simple as that. This is an excellent book to own. I recommend it.
