I Was sceptical about buying a light strip but it was very easy to install and gives a great light nice and even and as bright as you want as it has a built in dimmer switch. At the moment it’s on with our Xmas lights but I’m sure will be great after the Xmas lights come down as we wanted the front of the house to be brighter without having to install more complicated systems as the 10m roll did the whole downstairs front across the garage and just into the garages power supply so the final connections and dimmer are located inside the garage as they cannot be fitted outside according to the instructions. I Will probably buy a second strip but need an extension cable to run the power supply further down into the garage and this 24v ip rated waterproof ext cable is available on Amazon

These are great, and look good when up, the strip holders it comes with are not the best though, and the strip often falls out.

Very bright lights with loads of options for colours and dimness etc, very sticky and quite thick so a pain to try and stretch out is the only thing.

This is a 10 metre long rope of cool white LEDs. It runs off a 24 volt power supply to be plugged into a mains outlet, and whilst the LED rope is waterproof the charger is not. Nor is the barrel connection between the charger and the rope. Worse, the lead from charger to connection is only four feet long.A rotary dimmer is provided which sits between charger and rope, but its tails are only four inches each. In almost any situation, indoors or out, low voltage extension lead(s) will be needed although suitable ones are not suggested on the vendor's web page. The probable need for them is not mentioned at all.The rope itself is very strongly made with an exterior sheath of silicone. A bag of mounting clips is provided suitable for screwing onto walls. However, unlike some LED ropes, there is no provision for adding additional lengths of LEDs to this one. To extend the effect you will need to buy a complete new kit of rope with charger, and most likely more extension leads.The picture, on the web page, of the exterior of a house decorated with LED rope looks fantastic but it should come with a wealth warning. "Fantastic adj Based on or existing only in fantasy; unreal" Other images show incredible shapes. There is no realistic way to achieve these effects in practice.The LED rope can be cut short; at intervals along its length there are tiny black dots marking the place to cut. This ensures cutting the wire, not an LED. I did wonder of this was how some of the incredible chapes had been achieved but, "Warm tip: It is difficult to reconnect the neon light after cutting it short, we don't provide the connecting tool!"This is a really well-made LED rope and provides a fantastic light. For the exaggeration and hype deduct one star. For the ridiculously short power lead I have deducted another.
