Pathfinder Skull and Shackles Base Set Character Mat (7-Pack)

Nice to have character playmats.The image has a packaging that says:Each player using a character mat receives a special bonus: Once per game, at the start of your turn, you may discard a card to draw a card.However, I did not receive that packaging AND it doesn't say that on any of the playmats. Oh well, I am going to play without that bonus anyway.

These are basically fancy mousepads with outlines where you are supposed to put your cards. It's great if you have OCD like me or you want to have the premium experience. It also says that players using the mat get to draw an extra card at the end of their turn, but that just seems like cheating to me.

The mats are handy. It has locations for discard pile, character deck, character card, and buried cards. The mats are like a thin mouse pad.

It's not a bad product and makes the game look really good. But the smell is almost unbearable! I had to soak them in vinegar and soapy water 3 times to dull the horribly strong latex smell I was not expecting. Think twice before getting these Mats because PU!!!!

Love these mats. They make it much easier to keep track of your deck, buried, etc, plus they look cool as well. We really love them! The smell was there but it went away after being left out a couple of days. Not a huge issue unless you are really sensitive (I'm allergy ridden and was fine :)

Great game. just coming to the end of Rise of the Runelords....love it and can not wait to take to the seas.

The mats are good quality. They really improve the gameplay experience for us, as they make it much easier to keep an overview of the deck, discarded cards, and burried cards. This is especially useful if you like playing multiple characters per person.
