Know what you are getting.
First, these are TINY trays, please be aware of the dimensions before you purchase. They are 7.8" long, 4.1" wide, and 1.2" tall - about 30% smaller than regular ice trays. However, they give nearly full size ice cubes and work really well for a small freezer. The storage container was a selling point, but again it is small, so it will only hold 4 trays worth of cubes. The lids seem to fasten pretty well to prevent spillage, but not enough to turn upside down. The silicone at the bottom of the tray really helps get the cubes out. These are great for my purpose (small apartment freezer). They seem like they will last a long time.

Definitely buy these!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE these ice cube trays!!! They seemed smaller than I expected when I opened the box. They were exactly as described. I realized that they seemed so small in my hand because I was used to the standard larger plastic clunky ones. Once I used them I was and am totally happy!!! They make great ice cubes that very easily come out into ice bucket. I use a lot of ice all year long, so I'm still using my clear regular ice bucket in the freezer (plenty on hand and more in trays. The lil shovel and container to hold ice cube is adorable!!! Since I'm using my ice bucket, I use the plastic container to hold my cooler thin icepaks. The covers and stacking work perfect!!! It is amazing how much more space I have and how better organized my freezer is and looks -- and I still get plenty of ice cubes. With the lids there is no splashes leaving ice skating rinks on bottom of the freezer too!!! A lil tidbit - Once I fill the trays, I put them on a kitchen towel on the counter, then I put the covers on. Prevents potential overfill spill from wetting counter. I know you're thinking sheeeeesh lady, calm down it's just ice trays ๐. However, they are the best ice trays I've ever purchased and used!!!!

First time using ice trays due to broken ice maker in fridge. Easy to use.
My ice maker in my fridge keeps breaking (either spraying water inside the freezer due to a leak/break in the pipe, or - currently - spraying water at the wall behind the fridge. I finally bought these because (1) I use a 36oz Yeti Rambler daily and mix my own caffeine mixture that is only served cold -- pure matcha powder w/ crystalized lemon powder and water. (2) I wanted an ice cube size close enough to what the ice maker generates without being too big that i wouldn't be able to fit it in the opening of the rambler. (I think I guesstimated since the diameter was ~3.6in, then the opening was at least 60-70% of that or more, so ~2.6in - 3.1in - rough guess) (3) I wanted an ice cube size that was suitable for shaking as the method of mixture as I no longer use a shaker so that I save time and instead throw the 3 ingredients (+ice) into the rambler and shake it for a few seconds. (4) I wanted to bank the ice cubes made by the ice trays, preferrably by a storage provided alongside the product to avoid getting in the way when the maintenance man comes to fix the issue and to avoid wasting ice as a result. Plus, having ice already in the storage and also having Multiple "backup", already filled ice trays would cover me on days I was going to work but forgot to refill the storage on my days off. I have been using this product for a few days now and I could not be more happy. The ice fits in my rambler and is a perfect size and shape in general compared to what the ice maker creates. The ice is also the perfect size for shaking mixtures within the rambler, preventing interruptions to my before-work-routine. Additionally, I have only used tap water for the ice (and bottled water as the water for the caffeine mix, just for easier measurement and less stress) especially since that's what the ice maker uses already. When the product arrived, it was not immediately obvious on the labeling that it was dishwasher safe (scanning the Transparency label on the plastic wrap helped greatly), so I just hand washed it before using it for the first time. I have not used the dishwasher yet but likely will if I end up making cranberry juice cubes or similar. The scoop is lacking in depth (only grabs at most 3 cubes to the point the first time I just grabbed cubes and put them in my rambler) so I opted to continue using the 99 cent ice scoop I acquired from Walmart a while back. While I am not used to filling ice trays, as long as I keep the level lower than the borders - especially the intersection - then the ice comes out perfect. If youโre not in a rush or being klutzy, it is easy to move the filled, covered tray to the freezer (however I have a relatively small kitchen; your mileage may vary depending on your sink's location compared to the fridge and/or if you just opt to use bottled water near the fridge to prevent spills). I have not had spills or leaks. If there is any water "leaking" then it was because I overfilled and it was noticeable by the water touching the lid after covering. Just take it slow. No issues at all with removing the ice cubes from the tray either. I take the tray out of the freezer and set it on the counter for a minute or more. Then, I twist gently while holding it over the provided storage and it falls cleanly into the bin. If you have never done ice trays before, the manual that comes with the product emphasizes best practices (gentle twist, not bend) for extracting all the ice at once while maintaining the tray's lifespan. The only complaint I had was the provided scoop depth, but you don't have to use it and alternatives are very easy to acquire. My most favorite aspect of this product is the provided storage so that if I have slower days (I plan to refill the bin on days off or when I get home from work as prep for the next day) I have backups in the form of 4 filled ice trays which are more than enough as they fill 80-55% of the bin as all 4 frozen trays. I could not have asked for a better product of this type as my first "ice trays" purchase. Thank you for coming to my TEDxTalk.

Perfect ice trays!
These trays freeze perfect! The size of the ice is great. When you see the trays you think the ice will be tiny, but itโs not at all! The ice comes out of the tray with no effort. I love the container to store them in when they are done so you can make more. The ice also holds up well in my Owala in the AZ heat! Iโm possibly going to purchase another set to never run out.

Short term solution
I am not impressed with this item and if I didn't already use them for my 4th of July party, I would have returned them. The main issue I have is the small, cheap plastic trays. The ice did not come out easy and you have to twist the plastic cubes which will lead to breakage soon due to the cheap plastic. The blue/colored pieces are described as silicone but they feel like plastic and offer no flexibility especially when frozen. This feature does not help the ice pop out like it should. The trays are also smaller than expected. I bought this item instead of the other options because it had the bucket to hold the ice. Unfortunately, the bucket does not fit the ice from all 4 trays and is also extremely thin and cheap. I would expect to find an item of this quality at the dollar store and feel it is overpriced. Lucky for me, I will not need to use this item once my ice maker is fixed.
