After going all gray naturally and loving it, I lost my mind and colored my hair brown again with semit permanent color. What was I THINKING??? Well at least it isn't permanent , so it washes out gradually , but my temples and top root area need coloring about 4 weeks before the rest of my hair. Well this product helps with that. I just put it on my part and around my temples. It also makes my thin hair look thicker. If I screw up I just need to rub it in a bit hard to blend in more evenly. It doesn't come off on my pillowcase. It lasts 2+ days.. if you don't wash your hair every day. The applicator and product is super small but you don't need much. It is concentrated and doesn't go all over the place. I wish I discovered this sooner! I use the brown color.

This is good for quick touch ups in between colorings. It’s super easy to use with the included sponge and you just put it on any grey hairs you want to cover up. The color matched my hair but it did leave it a bit more matte looking than my natural hair so it was noticeable to me. When I ran my hand through my hair, some of this did come off on my hand so it’s not something I would feel comfortable with leaving in my hair as I wouldn’t want to mess up my pillowcase.

As someone who suffers from thinning hair, especially as a woman, I am the first to understand how important it is to cover up thin spots while still looking natural. I am constantly on the hunt for a powder to do so, since I have established that powder is the way to go for me! This is great as long as you get a shade match, it is easy to apply and stays put, and I don't really think there is much of any powder on the market that will look completely perfect and natural up close and upon inspection, but anyone seeing me from a normal distance would have no idea that I am trying to cover anything, so I certainly consider that a win! With the amount of powder you have to use, just one of these containers will go a very long way, so the value for your money is definitely there. I highly recommend playing around with Shades and potential combinations and the best times and ways to apply, Etc to find what works best for you!. But just remember you're not alone in this fight!

I am so pleased with this product! It really works and does cover my grays! It takes a bit of practice but if you take your time with it, no one would suspect you used it. I use this in between dye sessions. I have dark brown hair, so when my hair starts to grow out, which starts after about three weeks, it is noticeable. This powder helps me to wait the month before I dye again.I usually use a makeup pad and a brush to help make it look natural. I use the make up brush to paint it in the areas framing my face. I use the pad to add it to the top of my hair and blend it out. This not only distributes the powder well but also makes my hair look fuller and thicker.I highly recommend this product. The first place I bought this was on TikTok at a much higher cost. This Magic Root Cover Up is a great affordable price and really truly works as good for 3 times less the cost I paid previously.

It's an easy to use root cover up! It was my first time using this product and I found it works best when you apply it generously to the scalp and roots. Once I got use to it, it works great. It covers up roots and hair thinning. Love it!
