Cute winter socks. Fit true to size. The inside looks like a mess. Don't think these are durable or warm enough to wear for winter sports, but they are perfect for wearing around the house. I've been tumble drying them on low and they seem fine.

I am an avid hiker and outdoor activities person. I try to go on hikes frequently and some long hikes in winter to snowy cold regions. One thing I have had trouble with gear is that specialty socks are either uncomfortable for my feet or don't warm my toes enough. The winter shoes provide enough insulation but don't provide that soft feel that only few socks can provide.These COOVAN socks provide the perfect mix of warmth, softness, comfort, and durability I am looking for. I wore them on my recent glacier hike to Mt. Shasta and I was happy with the results. My feet remained warm and cozy throughout the hike and because of the absorbent material I didn't even sweat that much. In short I am quite happy with its performance and will be getting more for my future winter hikes.

I wear a size 8.5 Wide men's shoe size, and these socks fit me well. I wore them while out hiking in the woods and they performed great. They kept my feet comfortable, warm and dry. After washing and drying them they stayed true to fit. 5 pairs of nice warm socks for the price they are offering them at is a great deal in my opinion. I'm planning on getting some more of them.

I hate to ding a manufacturer for an "artistic choice," but if these socks were a sweater, they might be contenders in your office's ugly sweater contest at Christmas. I know that seems harsh, but I'm just being honest. I really don't understand the design and color choices of these socks. They're just too busy for me.That said, since I also don't see myself wearing anything except long pants with these socks (and I'm pretty sure I couldn't design a sock if my life depended on it),I'll just say that the design is probably moot.Now the good news. These are nice socks. They feel nice and soft, they're not too tall (kind of a cross between tall ankle socks and short crew socks), and I prefer wool to cotton in my socks, especially when I'm out for a long walk. (As the expression goes regarding the best material for socks, "cotton is rotten."So yes, these are nice socks. Oh, one other curious thing--the five pairs of socks came packaged in a small box. Not a small bag. But a box. That was kind of a head scratcher to me. What was the manufacturer concerned about? Were they worried the socks might get broken in shipping? (Just curious.)All my petty beefs aside, these are going to be excellent socks for the changing seasons. Wool socks are the best.

We love these Nordic winter socks! They are colorful, cozy and comfortable. They wash well with very little shrinkage (if any), and come in a variety of color combinations. They may say they're "Mens" socks, but I wear a 7.5 woman's shoe and they fit me just as well as they fit my husband - we've divided them up between us. They have a good weight to them, not super thick, but more of a medium-thick weight, and feel just perfect. I simply love the Christmassy Nordic designs for winter.

My husband wears an 11.5 in mens and I wear an 11 in womens' and we both can wear these socks easily. They are so soft, cozy, and warm, and wash well!I don't know how well they will stay up in boots, as I sometimes struggle with socks getting too loose around the ankles and sliding down, but even if we just use them for lounging at home they are worth the price this winter. So cozy and snuggly! I think they would make a great gift or stocking stuffers for men or women!

The first thing I noticed when unboxed was the softness. These socks are VERY comfortable. I wear a men's 9 1/2 shoe and these fit well. My impression is that they are a little shorter (on the calf by about 3/4") than the average sock in my collection but they are a perfectly reasonable length. The material seems good and they appear exactly as pictured (very complex, holiday sweater design)After wearing them for a while, I can't even tell they are there. The don't constrict at all but seem stretchy enough that they are staying where they belong. These socks seem a good buy and I'm happy to have them as the weather starts to cool off.
