Easy install, discreet and once installed it does it's thing. As long as it proves reliable I'll be happy.

It would probably be easier to say the only thing I didn't like about this dash cam kit - the electrostatic stickers for mounting on glass could have been better....However, to leave a better review , this is what I liked ;The instructions are clear to follow and it was easy to set up on my phone. There's a quick start card which has been well thought out. No account creation / subscription is required to access the controls or footage. The cables are long enough to run around our quite large estate car. The trim tool made it very easy to push the wires behind the car facia. There are also a good amount of reviews of other GKU dashcams on youtube, so you can get some tips on installation.As mentioned above, the electrostic stickers ( imagine very thin phone screen protector) , are a bit of a fiddle to use. They don't have much stiffness to them, and air bubbles don't rub out well in the end I cut one in half to make it smaller & easier to use.The device talks to you when it's changing functions , so you always know what it's doing.The image quality is very good - I think 4k + 2.5k really is the minimum you need if you want to be able to get clear number plate info. The colour of the image is good and the brightness is good too.The App is very good, much better than I thought it would be. It provides lots of telemetry + map info as the device has in-built GPS. The sound recording quality is good too , it records a pretty good frequency range. Uploading from the camera to a phone , then from the phone to Google Drive seems the best way to get large files off wirelessly.I'm just using the 12v socket supply , but other cable options are available if you want fixed live feed for impact monitoring.Overall , this is the best dash cam I've tried , so I'm happy it's now in my car.

This dash cam comes with all you need, including an sd card and all the cabling to be able to install it in the front and rear of the car.The picture quality is really good, and it was easy to install with reasonable instructions. You use the power socket (cigarette lighter) in the car to power it, which is fine if your car doesn't have power running to that all the time, as it can result in a flat battery for some older cars.Overall it does everything you need a dash cam to do.

My old dashcam has been getting a bit old and is no longer reliable, so I wanted an upgrade.Physically installing this is straight forward enough. I already had a wired in installation from my previous dash cam but needed to convert it to USB-C which this camera uses, a small dongle of Amazon fixed that.Although the unit is quite large, its orientation means it isn't obvious at all.Setup of the app and connecting to the camera was a bit of a hassle because I tried using the quick setup guide rather than the full manual, and it misses out critical info like the Wi-Fi code. I also struggled for a while connecting to the camera, as my car's CarPlay also uses Wi-Fi and it kept switching to that instead of the camera. Once I knew what was going on, it was easy to fix.Image quality is great, quite wide so things look a lot further away, but number plates are easily readable.I do also like how the app shows you a full playback including the map and speed that you were doing when it was recorded.Very happy with it.

(Ensure you have the correct positioning by holding the cameras in the desired location and turning the unit on to check the field of view.)There’s a lot of cabling included, which needs to be routed to both the front and rear cameras, making this a bit tricky. The unit is powered through a USB-C socket that connects to a car charging cigar plug.In operation, the image quality is excellent in both day and night settings, exceeding that of my previous camera. The app (available for both Android and iOS) is user-friendly, and the Wi-Fi connects quickly once the password is entered. The GPS feature is a nice bonus as well.While there are cheaper models on the market, I am truly impressed with the image quality of this one.

Eine gute Dashcam, die ich empfehlen kann. Die Qualität ist überragend, auch bei Nacht sind Details wie Autokennzeichen sehr gut zu sehen. Die Qualität ist 4k auf der Frontkamera. Die hintere Kamera zeigt auch gut, ein bisschen dunkler, aber Sie können es auch in der Nacht zu sehen. Die Verbindung zum Telefon ist schnell und einfach, das Herunterladen eines Videos dauert nur sehr kurz und unterbricht nicht. Das GPS braucht eine Weile, um sich anzupassen, aber dann funktioniert es gut.

E' già il terzo che acquisto, e sono sempre stato soddisfatto. Dal primo a questo, le migliorie sono evidenti, a partire dalla qualità dei materiali . La dotazione è completa, compresa la scheda sd (non presente nelle versioni precedenti), e l'attrezzo molto utile (semplice ma efficace) per far passare i cavi nelle guarnizioni, più vari adesivi per l'applicazione delle 2 telecamere sui vetri.Punto di forza, come le precedenti, la facilità di connessione, l'angolo di riprese della telecamere (è stata la prima dash cam che non ho restituito perchè tutte le altre decantantavano angoli di visione da 160/170 che poi si riducevano a 120° scarsi), la semplicità dei menù, e la possibilità di personalizzare parecchi aspetti sia nella registrazione che nelle preferenze addizionali (tipo l'audio o la sensibilità in caso di urto). Rispetto al precedente il corpo della telecamera principale è leggermente più grande e pesante, ma ciò è giustificato dalla presenza del display e del gps a bordo nativi. Il cavo di alimentazione è abbondantemente lungo a sufficienza anche per la auto più grandi, e su questo l'attacco è Type C. Dal corpo della telecamera principale parte il cavo per la telecamera posteriore, anche questo abbondantemente lungo. La qualità delle immagini è ottima di giorno e molto buona di notte anche con scarsa illuminazione. Se devo trovare un difetto, è che nella guida rapida non c'è la password di default (12345678) della connessione wifi, che è invece presente nel libretto di istruzioni.

Easy to install, has all tools and parts. Great app, simple to set options. Automatically has correct date, time, GPD coordinates, and speed on video watermark. Has push button to save. Can set video files up to 5 min each. Easy to remove SD card while attached to windshield for computer transfer.
