I recently ordered the kit to help a friend with a watch that defied opening. It came sooner than was promised. In less than 5 minutes with the tools in the kit I was able to open the watch without damaging it replacing the battery. (I had tried many methods without success without the kit nearly cutting my hand several times). Closing it by hand was not effective but the press that was included worked well, again without damaging the watch. For my purposes I am not likely to need all the tools in the kit but was happy with the effectiveness of the tools I needed. No instruction was required for what I used.

I don't think of this as a toolset for professional watch repair, but for everyday work on my personal watches it provides everything I need - tools for removing and replacing snap-on and screw-on backs for battery replacement, a forked tool for removing spring pins, needle press for pushing out pins to size watchbands, very fine tweezers for occasional internal work, and a huge collection of spring pins for replacing broken or missing ones. Since I bought this set about two months ago I've gotten four watches working that had just been sitting in my drawer for lack of the proper tools.

Soo glad I got this. I have multiple watches. This is great for battery changes and band sizing. Clear instructions. Very easy to use.

Great product; i ordered some small tools apart from this set and the tools within the set are of “superior” quality. Most of the things are made of steel, they feel sturdy, they work as supposed. Great toolkit for the amateur watch carer at home! Tool to screw off the back case feels sturdy and nice, nothing will bend and the pin fits perfectly in all my watches so unscrewing goes with ease! Don’t hassitate to buy!
