I wanted to have some for Christmas this year, just to help make the table look a little bit nicer. These ones were perfect.They are double sided, so the material is nice and thick. This will stop any accidental spillages making it all the way through the placemat and onto the table cloth beneath. Because they are double sided, they are reversible and the material joining is completely hidden with the stitching, so both sides look equally good.Because of the size (45cm x 30cm), they will also fit almost all trays, so if you ever need to serve someone a meal on a tray (elderly or sick relative in bed - or even just for breakfast in bed) they can help to make the tray look a little bit more special.

These are lovely placements.I got the grey ones and they fit in perfectly with my decor. They are double-sided and the stitching is very neat.I have been wiping any spillages with a damp cloth, which is working well so far.I like them and think they are good value.

These four placemats actually look really nice on our table. They’re made from polyester but look like linen. I wondered therefore if it was deliberate that they’re not straight, so that they look like rustic linen material. Regardless, I like them and the fact that they’re washable and heat resistant is perfect!

I ordered these grey place mats for my breakfast room, as the colour scheme in the kitchen and breakfast room is a light grey, so these would easily fit, either on the breakfast bar or on the table, they are large enough to take a dinner plate and a glass, so you do not need glass place mats to go with this.The material is polyester, and the feel is quite rough, but is very strong, so no issues with getting these damaged, I am not 100% on how you would keep these clean, as I do not think I would like to put them in the washing machine, but any minor drips of food can easily be wiped off, and you can always turn the mat over, then no one will see.. LOL.This are a great, well made set of four place mats, which is ideal as long as you do not have more than four at your table, they will get a lot of use, and I am more than happy to say I would recommend these to anyone that asked.

They have good heat resistance and look nice on a wooden table, they are also very well made with the stitching almost invisible. Having used them daily since we got them, they have shown no signs of wear and tear and have washed well – no bleeding, shrinkage or discolouration.Summing UpAn excellent set of place mats that look very rustic and perform well.

This is a perfectly fine set of four fabric placemats. They are double-sided so it doesn't matter which way you put them on the table, there are no visible hems tucked under. The stitching is a bit rough but given the visible weave in the fabric, that adds to the rustic charm rather than detract. I do find them a bit too pricy however at £14.99 - but I would be happy to pay around £10-12 for them.
