Dasco Pro6 Piece Pin Punch Kit, Made in the USA, VN70022 22

After much deliberation between this set and one that was double the price, I'm happy to have chose this set. I feared the lack of a rubberized shaft would be a shortcoming, but these work great the way they are for me. I, however, am not doing work in which my hands are slicked or oil covered so I can not speak for that aspect. If you feel the need for more grip you can add grip tape or rubber coat. Either way, a quality American made set economically prices.P.S.For those who prefer to add a rubber grip, just rough texture the surface with a light/medium file then add some 3M automotive rubberized coating. That stuff works great and hardly flecks away at all. I got it here on Amazon for like $10. On a test handle I taped off only the section I wanted texture and applied it using a paint brush to dab the surface so that it resembled stucco. Looked like a factory handle!!!

It's kinda hard to rave about the performance of a basic pin punch, so I won't blow smoke: The only thing that separates them from most competitors is these aren't Chinese.American made punches at a reasonable price, and I've had no issues with quality so far. I've always been pleased with the quality of Dasco tools.

Great punch set! My first set broke and had to get another. Not an awesome set but giving 5 stars because this is a great set for this price.

Dasco has always been a well made tool. MADE IN AMERICA, need I say more.

Work so good when I change the brake pads on my srt8 charger with brembo brakes.

Very happy with these, and the price is right. Can't speak to durability as I haven't challenged them enough yet. But if they do have a problem I'll return and modify this review.

I expected better quality from a USA product, smaller punch break after one use.

These punches are quite soft and bend very easily. Suitible for light duty applications, but will deform with the lightest tap of a very small hammer.
