Stunning dress. True to size. It could be just a little bit longer but apart of that one that's a good purchase. The material is stretchy velvet feels so comfortable. I am size UK 10 and I ordered 10 and it fits perfectly.

Lovely dress, fabric feel quality and so soft, it skims all the right places, and is forgiving on the others. Not bad sizing either. To me it was good value for cist and looks more luxurious than it's price tag

Nicely tailored dress which fitted nicely and suitable for cocktail party, wedding or some sort of celebration where you need to dress up smartly.My only regret is the colour choice as it attracts a lot of lint which looks really obvious

I'm always a fan of GRACE KARIN's simple, practical, and stylish designs, and this ball gown is no exception. The colour is what really stole my heart - the red wine shade is absolutely beautiful, with a glossy burgundy hue that feels so rich and elegant thanks to the velvet texture.The velvet itself is incredibly soft, and the smooth lining on the inside adds an extra touch of luxury. It's such a treat to wear something that’s both stunning to look at and a pleasure to feel against your skin. And the fit is spot on - it's incredibly flattering and hugs in all the right places.All in all, this dress is a great buy: stunning colour, luxurious fabric, and a flattering fit, all at a really tempting price.

I really like this elegant dress. I have had other items from Grace Karin and again I am not disappointed. The dress comes in many sizes and colours so a really good range to suit. The site has a size guide on it which is helpful but I comment on that further below.The quality and stitching is great and the zip runs smoothly down the back. The cowl neck front hangs really well on me and the fit is great. The dress has a very significant element of stretch to it which makes moving around easy and the ruched area covers any parts you may want covered or distracted from! The dress hangs really well. Given the amount of stretch you can easily chose a size less than the size chart as the dress will simply be a little more figure hugging. I suspect you could even chose a size 2 less than you think you need. That said, the size chart is not inaccurate if you want a less stretched fit.Overall, this sleeveless dress is a lovely length, material and fit and I am very pleased with it.

The first thing to note is that it is a Polyester velvet, made from 95% Polyester and 5% Elastane, it is washable at 30°C but doesn’t clearly say if machine or hand wash only, it’s not a particularly delicate dress, so I don’t see a problem with machine washing. Having a good look, I don’t see any major faults in either the material or the manufacture, stitching and seams look fine.Fit wise, I am a UK size 12/14 and aired on the larger side and went for the size 14 which I think fits me just perfectly and it manages to, not quite hide but certainly doesn’t show off my belly. The length for me is perfect and hangs just a few cm above the floor.The material isn’t exactly soft, if has a slight rough feel due to it being Polyester, but it is quite thick and does keep the body and legs warm so it would be ok for a cool evening with something over the shoulders, a light jacket or shawl.
