Shelley Shepard Gray is one of my favorite Christian Authors. Her series The Amish of Hart County has been a such a delight to read. It has a wonderful contemporary feel while keeping us in the Amish community. Her latest book in the series - His Risk - is another wonderful addition. This time we see a focus on Calvin Fisher who we met in his brother's story - His Guilt. I love when we get a sibling story because we get to see where previously beloved characters' lives have gone. This book was a wonderful addition and had that edge of suspense that we've come to love from Gray.*I received a copy of the book for review purposes, all opinions are my own.

This Amish story by Ms.Gray was quite a suspenseful tale. I really enjoyed it. It was quite different than any Amish book I have read before. I liked all the characters and of course the romance between Calvin and Alice. I also liked the secondary romance with Irene and West as well. In fact, I hope there will be a romance book just for Irene. maybe the next one will? I enjoyed it and recommend to all Amish lovers.

CALVIN knew he should not have become friends with Alice, he did not want to hurt her. He could die at any time if his boss West found out he was an undercover man for THE DEA. They met when he advising his brother Mark and his wife Weneta and Alice was house sitting for her brother Edward right across the street from each other. You will enjoy this story as much as I did.

Once again, Shelley Shepard Gray takes you on a whirl-wind of emotions in this novel! It is by far my favorite book in the series, and it keeps you on your toes. You will not be disappointed with this book, the series, or any of Shelley's books she's written. She has a true God-Given talent and it is amazing to read what she comes up with. Happy reading!!

Being a huge fan of Shelley Shepard Gray I must admit this story is not a disappointment. Calvin and Alice bring a story of Faith, Hope, and Trust. I was completely captivated by the story and the message and you will be too. Do not let this series pass you by. Thank you Shelley Shepard Gray.

I choose this book because I enjoy reading books by the author. This story was a different kind Amish story than I am use to reading

A very good book about the Amish. I do love reading novels as well as historical books on the subject. The character development was very good..
