This countdown clock serves its purpose. It’s easy to set and adjust as needed. I used the magnetic back to stick it to the fridge. It also comes with a small stand if you prefer to put it on a desk or table. It’s easy to read. The only thing that would have been better would be a backlight but honestly I haven’t needed it.

I like that it uses two CR2032 batteries, insuring a long battery life plus easily found replacements. I like that you can use it for longer functions than a kitchen timer can do. I like it has a clock function that is visible even when doing the count down timer. I prefer a timer that after reaching zero will start counting up like a stopwatch to let you know how long ago the timer went off if you missed the beeps it emits when hitting zero. (In this case 60 seconds) That is why I deducted one STAR.

I requested and received “for free” this COUNTABLES WHITE LARGE LCD DIGITAL COUNTDOWN CLOCK to test and give my honest opinion. HEY!!! Get one of these for your co-worker as soon as you hear they MIGHT retire before someone else thinks of it!!! I had a count down clock like this one three years ago just after I decided to retire. It REALLY added some relief and thought to those last 100 days especially. Funny part was a dozen different people in the office would ask me EVERY WEEK "How many more days" and they were surprised that I knew the EXACT number of days left every time they asked. I was going to hand down my old one to a friend in the same office now that she has decided she will be retiring in 18 months but hey, after three years some things do get misplaced so this was the one I decided to get for her. Not hard to set the countdown days, just use any of the dozen websites on the internet to have them figure it out for you after typing in the date of your event. NICE SIZE to have placed on your desk, and yes some people do notice it and mention how lucky you are when they see it so have some cute reply ready for them. Under $12.00 and a "AMAZON CHOICE" product meaning Amazon "highlights highly rated, well priced products available to ship immediately". COME ON, bring a little happiness to a co-worker or friend. Ordering as a Vine member does not mean I’m getting "free products".. Between my time for testing the product, doing an honest review and the FEDERAL AND STATE INCOME TAXES I am liable for because I am "receiving items of value in lieu of wages" that are based on the LIST PRICE with no coupons allowed to be used, there is a real cost to these items "paid for" by me. Since most of the items offered to VINE Member are Brand New to the market, never on the market before, MANY TIMES the price drops or coupons become available to every Amazon buyer a week or so after VINE Members orders them at FULL LIST PRICE. This really affects any cost savings VINE Members may end up with... So far I have been having a great time "doing my VINE job", and I hope to continue doing it for quite some time....

This Digital Countdown Clock is good, inexpensive fun. You can count down the days til your soldier comes home. Days to graduation/wedding/vacation.. And it can count down 999 days which is about 2 years and 9 months. The clock is so easy to set up. I had to figure out the days, hours & minutes for my countdown. The clock doesn’t let you just punch in an event date and auto-figure the time left to countdown, but that wasn’t too hard. My white plastic timer is around 6” long and a bit over 2” tall. Compact enough for travel and easy to wrap up for a gift. The LCD digital display is clear and depending on your eyesight, you may be able to read from a short distance, as the numbers are only about an inch tall but this does not cut into our fun considering the affordable price point. Options for displaying your countdown include magnetic hanging or the kickstand on the back, which is what I am using and it hasn’t failed me. Since I set up my countdown clock, it looks to be counting down just fine. It will allow a countdown as far out as 999 days, so evidently the 2 lithium ion batteries will get you there. It would make a super fun gift for expecting parents to countdown their predicted due date. OR as a FUN pregnancy announcement/clue for Grandma and Papa to figure out. It definitely creates much out-loud anticipation and obvious excitement.

It’s awesome! This clock is small (about 5.5 inches wide) so it fits nicely on the side of the fridge. It’s big enough to read easily but not too big as to be in the way. The alarm is not terribly loud. It’s about as loud as an alarm from a digital wrist watch. The clock was easy to set. Make sure you keep this away from children! It’s powered by 2 large button batteries, which are very dangerous if kids get them in their mouth. It would be safer if the battery case was screwed shut, but it isn’t.
