Awesome quality & design
Works very well, no complaints, looks amazing in my kitchen and has plenty of space. Quick easy cleaning and simple to use. Durable and still working 2yrs later and looks new!

Digital time pad
Older models had key pad o/s to view and push say for "frozen vegetables". This one you need patience to get the right temperature. Slide indicator on outside is only good if you know exactly how many minutes you want and it skips fast past 30 seconds and have to re-set again. If you need reading glasses, you have to wear them while putting in your desired parameters. Nice light inside as soon as you open the door and jingles a short melody when it is finished. Will update again if anything changes.

Not recommended!
It works, more or less. The Sensor Reheat preset for beverage boils coffee instead of heating it. Based on that mess, I haven’t yet had the courage to try other Sensor settings, which had been a main reason I chose this microwave. So far, the other two main disadvantages are: (1) the End tune repeats and repeats until the door has been opened. That may not sound like a big deal, but its demand for attention becomes extremely annoying when you’re cooking. (2) The Big One: There’s no one-button way to set a short time. I used my old Danby’s 30-sec and 1-6 minutes buttons almost exclusively. hadn’t realized how difficult it would be to use the +/- buttons or the slider on this to set a cook time. I would not buy this again.Update, another major flaw: You can’t set the time, then move away to get whatever you intended to microwave. It drops the setting, reverts to clock, almost immediately. Why didn’t they make it sing repeatedly when set and not run, instead of after it’s done? Bad design.

So far so good. Controls are awkward.
Controls are awkward. Some inside the door, some outside. A learning curve. I bought this one because my old panasonic had troubles with the door not latching. I read that the new panasonics have the same door latch problem.

It sure is smart!
Not thrilled with having to open the door to set the time. Sleek and easy to clean. I'm probably just a cranky old lady who doesn't want to own 'smart'er than I am appliances . Just saying...

I haven’t had a new microwave in years.
It looks very contemporary. It was exactly what we were looking for. It took a while to get used to but it didn’t take long. I’m still not sure if I trust the defrost features because I’m used to defrosting things manually, a little at a time. But I’ll try it once in a while to test how well it defrosts as advertised.

Welcome to the Jetsons.
This microwave does everything with Great design and simple operation. However, it does many complicated tasks if needed. It looks great, performs well.I have not use this feature yet, but if there is a problem you call an 800 number and an LG computer tells you what is wrong with the machine. Welcome to the Jetsons.
