**UPDATE** I have increased the rating to 3 stars as the company contacted me and provided a full refund. It looks to be very well made, however the plastic parts reduce the weight capacity in my opinion. If you are not a heavy person, then this is the lightest and easiest to deploy of all the different brands of toilet stool on the market. I would fully endorse it if they adjust the weight capacity.-------------------------------------------------------I have been looking for a lightweight, but sturdy seat for backpacking. At 63, squatting is getting harder. However, I am a heavy set person at 280lbs, so I wanted a very sturdy seat, but something that was under 2lbs. This seat seemed to fit the bill, with an advertised capacity of 400lbs. It looks heavy duty, however it broke on me when I tried to test it at home. Everything is very heavy duty, except the hubs which are just plastic. And that was the failure point, one of the hubs cracked and the seat pancaked.To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I have a disability that causes me to use the bathroom multiple times a night, and a small lightweight seat would make backpacking much more enjoyable.In looking at the damage, one of the top pins that hold the seat fabric to the frame is also cracked. Not sure which went first, the pin or the hub, they are both light weight plastic. Maybe if they had a reinforcing bracket between the side legs to help keep them from spreading, it would reduce the stress on the plastic parts.I still think this is a valid concept, but I wouldn't trust it for weight over 250lbs., YMMV!

Light weight, stable enough, This's a very good designed foldable portable toilet. It is pretty basic but should help get the job done quickly and easily enough.
