not just a push button set up - seems like on-line work is needed but once going, it goes.

Did not help even in same room.

Took about 1 hour to set up. Instruction are inclinometer, unless your not. I am not and had to do some guessing. However, that being said, I am streaming 1080 p for the 1st time!

I was having trouble with Netflix buffering on WiFi so had to run this cable from my router direct to TV then everything worked okay

Bought this cable to run outside, works great! no interruption problems and fits well in tight spaces.

I live in an old apartment building. We have thick plaster walls . Although we do have cable Internet in our small 1-living room apartment, Internet access is far from good. Connectivity is okay with my hard-wired desktop in the living room. Wifi access to the living room is iffy. Streaming means lots of buffering. Sometimes the signal is so weak I cannot even check my email from the next room. So I bought the extender.The tiny product arrived promptly in 4 days. After unboxing the extender, I uncovered a small, adorable really, little extender. I plugged it in and within just a few minutes I was up and running. There was no confusion, no mystery about installing the extender. Installation and setup was quick and simple. I do not understand why some reviewers found installation difficult and confusing. It was as close to plug-and-play as you can get.I now have good Internet access in my living room. I can watch videos without streaming. I can even use my iPad in the kitchen which was a complete dead zone before installing the extender. I am pleased.

Super simple to set up and connect to my router. The living rooms upstairs on the opposite end of my house are a dead zone for the router, which is why I needed an extender. I placed the extender in the hallway and it works really well when it is connected. I'm not sure if disconnecting has something to do with where I plugged it in, or if there is a glitch in the unit itself. I haven't tried in a different outlet, because I don't really have any other outlets with a perfect line of sight to the affected living rooms. When it is working, which is most of the time, it puts out a perfect solid signal. I haven't noticed any measurable speed loss. I get a better signal from the extender out in the garage than I do from the router.
