The Harney & Soons oval spoon is a nice choice if you want something small you can keep inside a tea caddy of a blend you've made up yourself (or your daily blend you keep in a porcelain tea caddy or whatever. instead of a proprietary tin) It's small enough and short enough to just be kept in the caddy for daily use, and it's stainless, so it won't interact with your tea inside the caddy that it rests on. With this style of spoon you do have to work a little more to get it rounded just right, but that becomes second nature very quickly. Again, with any of these spoons, you're going to make a pot of tea, and if it's a little weak you'll adjust and make it a little more rounded the next time, and from there it becomes second nature as long as you're using the same spoon, so I wouldn't worry too much about it being an absolutely perfect teaspoon from one model to the other.
