had a problem with first one got in touch with Hohem service now out of warranty dealt with Cassie they tried a few things to get it going nothing so they kindly sent me another reconditioned one free of charge this one works perfect an excellent service I would highly recommend. Regards Tom

This gimbal stabiliser is very well made and works well. Once paired to the app it allows you to produce very professional videos. It comes well packaged and have had it in use for several months now and would fully recommend to others looking for this type of product. I have no idea what the company's after sales services like as I have not had cause to use it.

My shaky hands could never capture as smooth video as this gimbal can. 1. I wish it could do some attempt at star tracking for Astrophotography. 2. I also wish it could support more weighty phones. I have to take my phone case off to use it properly. 3. I've yet to run out of battery while using this gimbal, the battery life is seriously impressive. 4. The way the gimbal folds to save space is seriously cool and smart. Although I do feel like it could be a potential failure point in the future. So far I'll trust it to work fine for years to come. And it fits in the smallest pocket of my bag. 5. The stability is really good. But I've encountered an issue when filming. Sometimes my gimbal will flip my phone 180° and the hinge will block my camera. I'll attach a video below to demonstrate it. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic does a lot for a great price

After having a faulty isteady and consulting with customer service and returning the faulty product I have indeed recieved the replacement and its been brilliant so removed my angry review as the product and customer service has been top class

This product is a tale of two halves, there are some things it does perfectly and other times, leaves you totally frustrated. Let me explain the positives first. The unit is well built, feels solid, grip is good and so is the small tripod base which you can use a larger tripod / base for, if you require. The controls on the handle are removable and this is, in itself is a great feature as you can manually adjust the angle(s) and start or stop the recording and it allows you to shift from portrait to landscape. The 'Hohem Joy' app is, in my personal opinion a great app with a stacked some great features and it does take some getting used too and you'll need to spend time to use it and understand whats on offer. However, you do not need to use the app itself, the phone app works fine and you'll just need to make sure your connected via Bluetooth. So, let me get on to the most frustrating point about this product. If you only intend to use this is portrait mode, then this is not relevant to you. When switching to landscape mode the cameras on the iPhone face the side of the arm as this is how the device wants you to load the phone into the holder. However, this is where the problems start, if you move the gimbal around - as you would expect too, the gimbal arm gets in the way of the shot. This is very frustrating and I have had to edit almost all my videos as I use the landscape mode. I tried to use the phone the other way, but the gimbal keeps trying to 'reset'. That's the next issue, when using the gimbal in landscape, there were occasions (2 of the 5 times), it went into berserk mode, i.e., it could not stabalise and therefore kept trying to centre, when it was already centered. The fix, turn it off and back on again, this is of course not a solution but it was the only means to get it to settle. There are a lot of good features going for this, the battery life, the detachable remote and app but I found the gimbal stability in landscape mode made this a poor choice for what I needed. Please consider carefully.

Unfortunately it stopped working. I charge and it works for 10minutes and stops working.

Que dire de cet appareil si ce n’est qu’à ce prix-là, vous avez vraiment un stabilisateur de qualité avec pas mal de fonctionnalités, une application facile d’utilisation et une télécommande Testa, à l’extrême dans des déplacements rapides pour la réalisation de court-métrages et de voyages en famille, j’ai été impressionné par la qualité du rendu Finale et l’efficacité de l’appareil Malheureusement, après six mois d’utilisation intensive, dis fonctionnement de la batterie mais merci au service après-vente qui est très efficace. Renvoie d’un appareil neuf

Love the clipe design, better than DJI with the magnet clip. It also doesn't accidentally press your volume or lock buttons, and it moves smoothly, decent battery life
